So! You’ve decided to give Revolution 1 a look. That’s nice! If you’re new to efedding and need some help getting started, then this is the spot for you! It’s all pretty simple, but for someone new to the game, it could be kind of confusing, so consider this a cheat sheet!
Step 1:
Learning the rules!
First and foremost, rules. I know it’s boring. But every place has them. Everything you’ll need can be found here: revo1wrestling.boards.net/thread/564/updated-revolution1-rules-guidelines
Be sure to read over the rules just to be clear on everything. If you need clarification about anything at all please feel free to contact Kylie Moore, Cecilia Ortiz, or Thomas Snow with any and all questions you have. We are happy to answer everything you need!
Step 2:
Creating your character!
This is the fun part. Make sure to use this template to fill out your character information:
revo1wrestling.boards.net/thread/446/contract-template
OR!
This template for your team:
revo1wrestling.boards.net/thread/7/tag-faction-contract
Once you’ve filled that out, you can submit it into either the “singles contracts” board or “tag teams/stables” board. Then you will be assigned to either the Sin or Legacy roster and you will be booked on the next card of the show you’re on.
Step 3:
You’re booked! Now what?
Be sure to check the “Tuesday Night Sin Cards” board for the latest match card. Once you’re booked on a show, your next step will be to roleplay for your match. Every match on the card will have a word cap under it. This is how long your promo can be.
So if the word cap is 2k, you can write up to 2,000 words before you go over the cap. This is to make things fairer and even for everyone. Going over the cap will result in a loss, so make sure to stay under the cap!
Step 4:
Okay cool. What else?
That’s pretty much all you need to know when you’re just getting started. But once you’re all set, there’s a few more things you can do. You can submit segments for the show that further expresses your character. You could also submit a character development post to the R1 Network board. Finally, you could take a shot at the Futures championship in the Futures Title Match board.
The rules for the Futures title can be found here:
