Character Name: Sora Weaver
Nickname:
Hometown: Newark, NJ
Height: 6'0"
Weight: 200 lbs
Alignment: Face
Partners/Stable: Jin Min-jun & Aphrodite IX
In-Ring Style: Sora found his way into wrestling initially via the deathmatch, so his style isn't sophisticated per se. A lot of his moves end up putting his own body in harm's way. This does tend to lead to a lot of high risk style moves, with varying results. Think the judgement of early to mid 2000s Jeff Hardy(sans the drugs) or even like in extreme cases Shane McMahon. He's probably never winning with a submission ever, and is more inclined to take the road more risky.
Bio: Born in Newark to a Japanese mother and American father, Sora has always felt out of place. His mother, though loving, was never able to fully reconcile that her son would never understand half of his heritage no matter how hard she tried to impart it into him. His father, a blue collar worker, cared for his son but lacked the faculties to fully understand the mental side. As a result Sora grew up in his own world, struggling to find relationships among peers. He graduated high school but instead of moving onto college ended up working service industry jobs, until one day he found a wrestling school that turned out deathmatch wrestlers at an alarming rate. Quickly it turned out Sora had a natural proclivity for the style, and began making a name for himself doing it. At one of those shows is where he met stable mate Jin Mun-jing, who later led him to fellow mate Aphrodite IX.
Attire: A black tank top and either blue or black jeans in the ring with a pair of Adidas sneakers. Outside the ring generic casual wear, nothing fancy.
Theme song: "The In Between" In This Moment
Pic Base: Shirota Yu
Entrance:
Favorite moves: All manner of dives to the outside
Running strikes(Knees, kicks, etc)
Shotgun dropkick
Hook kick
Anything off the ropes
Signature move(s):
Concrete Tragedy: Powerbomb into a double knee backbreaker
Finisher(s):
Self Inflicted Wound: Running flipping neckbreaker (Ace Austin's the Fold)
Sky Is Falling :Corkscrew Senton Bomb
Manager (optional): Jin and Aphrodite will accompany him for big matches(titles, feud blowoffs, etc)
How Often does this character cheat to win?: Only in the most dire of situations. If Sora has 1000 matches, he should cheat to win 1 of them maybe. And even then only in a very specific situation. But I'd argue the situation where it would come up would be minimal if any. If that's a consideration and you're not sure, PM me please. I would appreciate that.
Extra character info (mannerisms etc) that match writers should know: Sora is a very never say die type of person. Like the hero of an anime almost. He doesn't curse, save for an extreme situation. As a death match wrestler, if situations where no DQ matches or things like that happen he's going to be friendly with weapons. For big spots in matches, he's more likely to take risks that might endanger him if he thinks that it'll do more damage to his opponent. The longer a match goes, the more desperate he'll get. This is mainly out of self doubt; he'll start to think he can't win so he'll start to up the risk in the hopes of finding the kill shot. In victory he's only like outwardly happy on the big matches and the big successes. On a more standard TV match or what have you, he won't be unhappy but he's not gonna Bo Dallas run around the ring celebrating. In defeat, the bigger the loss the more dejected he's gonna be. No matter the circumstance, whether he lost fair or was cheated, if he loses he'll feel it was his own fault. I mention Jeff Hardy above in ring style wise, that's not a bad comp. Like the 02 Hardy when he faced Undertaker in that mini feud leading to the ladder match. Again, without all the drugs Jeff was doing at the time.

Entrance:
My mother said that I was holy
My father said that I would burn
My mother said I was an angel
My father said that I would turn
So I believed these words and I turned on myself
'Cause maybe he's right, maybe I'm worthless
Or maybe he's wrong and my mother was right
I got a killer in me to give me purpose
The drums from "The In-Between" kick, and strobe lights flash as Sora Weaver walks out from the back with his hair in his eyes. Shaking his head, he reveals his dark brown eyes staring far ahead. He takes a couple steps out past the entrance way, pausing again. Almost like he's having to will himself down the ramp. After a moment, he starts walking to the ring.
I ask myself, am I God or shit?
Am I the high, the low? I'm fucking worth it
And I ask myself, am I love or hate?
You are the reason I have and why I can't quit
Am I the high, the low? I'm fucking worth it
And I ask myself, am I love or hate?
You are the reason I have and why I can't quit
Sora rolls into the ring, before walking over to the ropes resting both his arms on the top with his forearms crossed. He looks into the crowd, almost like he's trying to use his eyes to tell them something. But the message keeps getting lost as the crowd cheers him on mindlessly.
