Both parents hand high hopes for JT when he was young they started training him in the ring at seven and didn't really do much besides trained and study both industries. by the time he hit fifteen pro wrestling and MMA companies was calling him a prodigy as he continue to improve and go undefeated in his high school and college amateur wrestling career winning a two-time NJCAA All-American, the NJCAA Heavyweight Champion, two-time NCAA All-American, two-time Big Ten Conference Champion and the NCAA Heavyweight Champion, with a record of 69-0overall in two years of college. He would then go on to have a two-year run in MMA're. He would learn Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu combine with his wrestling background making him a nightmare Match up for opponents. He would finish his MMA career with an overall record of 15-1, his only loss from a disqualification for excessive damage.
