Meghan Nash Strader found herself in the hometown of her grandmother on her mother’s side. Unfortunately for the eldest Strader sibling, her grandmother died before she was conceived, and her mother died giving birth to her. However, she felt a special connection to this place, and she wasn’t going to miss this opportunity as Revolution1 Wrestling was doing this tour of the United Kingdom. She was dressed in her blue denim, cowgirl boots, a plain black leather jacket, and of course, she represents her partner in this tag team tournament with a red and black Drago Santiago t-shirt. Her heels click on the cobblestone walkways in this small English town, and she can’t help but smile. Her bright red lips had been this way since ‘beauty and the beast’ was formed as they just kept winning even when they threw the Horrorcore champion at them twice. Meghan did have hopes it could’ve been her and Tamika in the finals on the opposite teams giving the Cowgirls a hundred percent chance to walk away as a tag team champion, but now it’s fifty, and that certainly doesn’t bother her. She has faith in her abilities, and more importantly, her partner has shown twice why they are the odd breakers. Meghan stops at a bench and sits down, crossing her legs pulling her purse up onto her lap. She digs out her iPhone 12 Mini and a soft pack of Marlboro Reds. She takes the brown filter cancer stick and stains it red with her lipstick as she takes a drag, the ember lighting up in the reflection of her silver aviators. Since Harold was now officially full-time for her brother and daughter in Project: Honor, she needed to hire a new cameraperson. Until then, her phone would have to do. She holds it out in front of her. She makes sure her makeup isn’t smudged and keeps her sunglasses. She hits record.

Our scene is Beauty of Beauty and The Beast, and the smirk on her bright lips is ever-present as she takes a drag of the cigarette she lit. Her leather jack is open, showing off her partner’s merchandise in the form of a t-shirt.
“Just over a month ago, the Cowgirls From Hell officially came out of retirement and signed on the dotted line here in Revolution1 Wrestling, won our debut match and entered the Lethal Lottery Tag Team tournament to crown a pair as Tag Team Champions. We threw our names in the hat, hoping we would stay together, but that just wasn’t the case. She got paired with the Rookie of the Year in Sara Cross and was knocked out first round; at least it wasn’t Tamika who had to eat the pin.”
Another drag but this time, she exhales through her nostrils.
“And I get paired with a man who is in the Qualifiers for the Prime Championship in Project: Honor. Do you see how lucky Drago and I are to get paired together? The man seethes championships and verbally ripping his opponents apart. I mean, the brain trust threw the Horrorcore champion at us twice, and even he couldn’t get the job done. Two rounds and we have made our opponents look like bitches. How have we done that? Through the experience, we have been individually successful in the sport of professional wrestling. You see, I live and breathe tag team wrestling. I find it the most rewarding form of wrestling, and I love being a tag team champion; I have been one three times before, and I want to make it four,” she says while taking another drag of her cancer stick. “Now Samantha Voxx commented on my mother being a whore among some other idiotic things. So I am going to give everyone a little history lesson on who I am. I was born May 5th, 1985, to Steven and Elizabeth Smyth. My mother died at birth, and the man I thought was my father raised me until I was kidnapped and raped, resulting in teen pregnancy, and I gave my sweet little girl up for adoption,” she says softly, remembering a horrible period in her life. “However, because of that, I found out that my mother had slept with the man I called Uncle Scott, and he was my real father. I knew I couldn’t raise a child with finding out who my real dad was as he was a member of the Bandido motorcycle club (he still is), and that was no environment for a child or let alone a teenager like me.”
She flicks her smoke to break off the ash and takes another drag.
“Fast forward from 2000 to 2006 when I found out I had a brother and a sister, twins, from our dad’s ex-wife, Lisa Hayes, may she rest in peace. John and Tamika were supposed to take the tag team world by storm, but John started his motorcycle club with our dad’s help. That’s when Tamika and I formed the Cowgirls From Hell. We held our first set of tag team championships for over 180 days, and it came down to nagging injuries when we eventually lost them to Bound by Blood, but we got our revenge when we stormed into the BWF and took those tag straps off them. Everywhere that we went, we have dominated the tag team division.”
She pulls another drag out of her smoke before dropping it on the ground, snuffing it out with the heel of her boot.
“Portia, Amelia, you two have been quite mouthy the past couple of weeks leading up to New Years Daze here in England. London, to be exact, and just like Drago and I, you two have run through your competition. Where the other teams failed, you succeeded, and no one can take that away from you. What we can do is end this little winning streak of yours. Drago said it best a couple of weeks ago: we are students of the game, and we never stop learning. You can’t not be learning all the time. If you don’t, it leads to complacency, and that is when you taste the sting of losing.”
“I never underestimate anybody, and I’m not going to start with you two. There is no doubt you have the talent and a bright future within this industry if you can maintain that level of competition you have had. The only thing that’s wrong with you two is you lack the experience Drago and I have. We have played this game before, and we just keep getting better. We don’t have to look at each other to know that we have one another’s back. I haven’t had this kind of chemistry with someone since my sister, Tamika Nash Strader. I didn’t think it was possible, but it has happened, and that isn’t going to be good for you two.”
“This business is a cruel mistress. When things seem like they are going your way, someone like Beauty and The Beast show up and knock your asses back to reality. It’s funny to think that I am the asshole when it’s the Cowgirls From Hell, but now I am the nice one compared to Drago. For instance, while I talk myself up quite a bit because I have earned that right, I come off as a bitch, but I have nothing on my partner when it comes to a verbal assault. He’s vicious, and when we hear from him, you will need a safe space to get over it. I had even considered treating you both with some respect, but you two want to act like heels when your biographies clearly state you are the good girls. You two can’t even figure out what your image is supposed to be and think you can beat two established veterans? Like I told you on Twitter, I will enjoy kicking you both in the chin.”
“This business is all about knowing who you are and who your opponent is. I know who I am; I am a multiple-time tag team champion. Drago has his accolades. You two? Brand new to the game, and you think because you won a couple of matches against odd couple teams that you are going to walk away as the tag team champions of Revolution1 Wrestling.”
“You won’t. You two aren’t ready for what Santiago and I are going to bring to the ring. While you two mouth off towards us on social media, we are lifting weights, sparring, and practicing our craft. Drago is a born champion. I am third generation talent that overshadows the rest of my family, except maybe John, as he fights to become the first Prime Champion on the Fallout brand in Project: Honor. Me? I will do the same and become one-half of the first tag team champions in Revolution1 Wrestling. I can taste your blood as we stake our claim as the most dominant team in this tournament.”
“I have remembered all the stupid shit you both have thrown at us on social media. I am going to clap back where it truly matters: the squared circle. Beauty and the Beast are coming for you two loudmouth pixie sized bitches. Pay attention, and you might learn something. Just remember: God forgives.”
“I don’t.”
Meghan sneers for the people watching worldwide as we fade out to the Revolution1 Wrestling logo followed by an advertisement for ‘New Years Daze’ in London, England.

Meghan sighs as she finishes her promotional video for the tag team tournament. She goes to put her phone away when it starts ringing. She looks down at her phone and sees the picture she picked for John: him wearing a Santa toque for Christmas. She slides her finger across the screen to answer.
“Hey little brother, I was just thinking about you,” she says happily.
“Oh yeah? Take it you did your promotional requirement for the tournament?” he asks.
“Yeah, I did. Pretty crazy to think if you win in that inferno match and Drago wins his against Contessa, you two could end up battling for the Prime title.”
“Yeah, that’s possible. Listen, I need to talk to you about something,” he says to her, which intrigues the eldest Strader sibling.
“Ok, what about?” she asks curiously.
“I found something out about the old man… he did something really bad, sis,” he says quietly.
“John, he’s done so many terrible fucking things, I am almost used to it now,” she states in her matter-of-fact way.
John doesn’t answer, and she can hear him breathing and knows he must be trying to come up with the right words.
“John, what is it? Don’t leave me in suspense over here.”
“Ok… well, Victoria found out something about when you gave birth to her and gave her up for adoption,” he says, and Meghan is now slightly concerned.
“Just spit it out, little brother,” she says firmly. She was getting slightly frustrated.
“When you gave birth, you had twins, not just Victoria, and… the old man sold what would be her twin sister,” his revelation to his sister has floored the oldest sibling. Her mind was racing with the fact she has had two sets of twins.
“Are you fucking kidding me?!” she yells into the phone, most likely causing John to pull the phone from his ear.
“I just found out, Megz. I had to tell you right away; this isn’t something I can keep from you. I had to tell you right away,” he tells her. Both of them are silent for a moment before she speaks again.
“What do we know, John? Where is my other daughter?”
“I hope you are sitting down.”
“I am, John. Tell me everything you know.”
Life was about to change again for the Strader matriarch. Only god knows what will come with that.
