Scene 1: In the Arena
Jensen Kidd had quite the 2020, pandemic or not. In the only fed she was part of, she was already a double champion, that is to say, a singles champion and a tag champion. But that was before signing with Revolution 1. As she is seen, sporting a Castlevania sweater, alongside a plaid skirt, suspenders, knee high socks, glasses and braces, the young blonde spoke, enthusiastically.
Despite thick, goofy glasses and braces, she was rather pretty too. She had the long legs and cute face that made her fans permanently attached to her. She even had both guys and girls asking her out. But she was engaged so had to break some hearts as well as some opponents. She was as goofy as her glasses, but that was something she loved about herself and wasn’t changing anytime soon.
“Ohmygosh, hi everyone! I hope everyone had a great holiday! Now since no one really knows me here, let me introduce myself! My name is Jensen Kidd-Belmont and I am not only a proud geek, but this company’s first gamer! But don’t let all this, from the thick glasses to the plaid fool you, cause I’m a fighter too, mhm!”
Jensen was one of those quirky chicks that was also really perky. But also she was really smart, having a perfect GPA throughout college and being a certified genius. But she also had a lot of wrestling knowledge for someone that had been only in the business six years.
But she learned fast and picked up on this sport quickly. She loved wrestling as much as she did gaming and honestly, she loved competition as much as both of those other things. She was here for just that. The competition enticed her and this was her chance to show what she had to the Rev1 fans.
“My opponent this week is Austin St. Peters. Now, I couldn’t find anything on you, so I’m going to just discuss my own goals! The fact that I’m here and have had a great 2020 on the indies was a great thing but I’m here to expand on that in 2021, yup! The fact that I defied everyone who said I couldn’t be successful because I’m a nerd, was a great feeling but I’m here to establish myself further! I’m here to prove that just like Billy Mitchell, I too, can become a world champion and ASP is my first step towards that!”
Being a former basketball player and cheerleader as well, she had the athleticism to do well anywhere she went. But that wasn’t all. She also had the charisma to keep herself entertaining while still being her quirky, geeky self, which was a message she preached to anyone involved.
She wanted to stay as positive as possible in times like these. She had thankfully missed catching the virus and no one in her family or friends had caught it either. But she had stayed in when she wasn’t wrestling, focusing more on her youtube channel and helping her longtime best friend, Rich, with his, as well.
As she continues on, she gives a quick smile, showing her happy go lucky attitude, which was one that endeared her to many fans around the world. Mostly other nerds and geeks out there that could relate to her and loved her attitude about things. She was always looking on the bright side of life and could do no wrong with it.
“But see, I’m here for and because of all my gamers out there! I’m here to show that if you step up and set your goals high enough, you too can reach them! I’m living proof of that! I’m only six years into my career and I’ve already done more than I ever thought I could, mhm! But there’s more than that!”
She said, with energy and some hyperactivity. She was surely excited to be in a new company where she could climb to the top and honestly, she wanted to win here to prove that she could make a name for herself anywhere she could and this was just that. She had put her name out there in other feds and wanted to do that here too.
As she adjusts her suspenders, showing a bit of her braces, she speaks. She had initially in this business, been really shy and quiet, until her friends, Aly Kay, Micah, Kenzi and Lauren Harris broke that spell a few years ago. Since then, she had come out of her shell and embraced who she really was.
She was a nerd and had no problem showing that. She had the attitude of a happy go lucky teenager type but that was something else that endeared her to fans. They loved that she was comfortable being herself and the fact that she could wrestle. She somehow knew she’d fit right in here in Revo1. She knew right away she was going to love it here, and couldn’t wait to get started.
“I wanna give one last message to all my gamer girls and guys watching and it’s this! Never give up on your dreams and remember, if you need inspiration, you can call me your role model. It’s a title I take seriously! From what I did find about you, you constantly complain about losing and not being on the cards. But you won’t be disrupting any show. Cause from now on when you do, I’ll be right behind you to stop you, mhm!”
She said, slipping her glasses up before showing her braces and skipping off. As she did, her pigtails would fly around, making her even more adorable. She was dorky and loved every bit of it. She loved the fact that she didn’t need a character because who she was in character was her true self, not even amped up. She acted like she had guzzled a case of Red Bull and had a binge on Pixie Sticks, which she could have. But she was super hyper right now.
She knew she was a nerd and it wasn’t going to change anytime soon as she wasn’t about that. She was about staying true to who you were no matter what you look like. And Jensen Laine Kidd-Belmont was a quirky, hyperactive nerd, and that was who she would stay. She was not about to make the mistake of changing herself again like she did for a time elsewhere.
