We open with Solomon Graham, sitting at a bar, drinking from a bottle of Mountain Dew. The bar has an older feel to it, like it’s been there for a while. The camera is facing Graham from his right side and from the shot, we see to Graham’s left what appears to be the kind of background you’d see in a criminal’s mugshot, just farther away. There also appear to be pictures of famous people and their mugshots next to it and on the wall subsequent to it. Above the refrigerator behind the counter, we see various things, like old license plates, a barbed wire ball bat, a skeleton mask, etc. The camera comes a bit closer to Graham. We are able to hear what he opens with.
GRAHAM - *sigh* Where do I even begin with this one?
I'm teaming with Duncan Aries to go against Taysia Lattimore and Cole Kelly. I'm facepalming triple time. I've been spending most of my time here, at The Rockpile, in Toronto, because I cannot fathom how Kylie Moore could've made such a dumb decision. Pairing me with Duncan Aries is like pairing Mountain Dew *he grabs his bottle and shows it to the camera* with, say.... Salt and Vinegar potato chips. You know where the Mountain Dew belongs, and it sure as hell ain't with the salt. Still, she made the right choice if she wanted to start feeding her roster to established stars.
Because, you see, as much as Duncan is a pain in the ass, I gotta say I respect his in-ring abilities and the way he always speaks the truth. These other two, on the other hand?
Graham then looks at the camera from a side glance.
GRAHAM - I’ve studied them both. Neither of them are anything special. Both good, in their own right, but still. However, the potential is there. And of course, they have their few supporters and their many detractors. I’m setting out to shatter some dreams and validate some detractors. It will be amazing and it will be a spectacle, ladies and gentlemen. One that you won’t wanna miss.
So, in short?
Graham then stands up and looks directly into the camera.
GRAHAM - I want Cole and Taysia to pay really close attention to me when I say this: You may be good, but you sure... as hell… ain’t spectacular.
He then smirks as he turns around, grabs his Mountain Dew and walks towards the Mugshot background. The camera fades out.
