International Championship
"Frequent Flyer" Miles A. Way vs Kelly Penkzee-Nelson vs Jack "Action" Jackson
Alara: The following contest is scheduled for one fall, and is a triple threat match for the Trinity Wrestling International Championship!
The atmospheric intro to Marshmello's 'Fly' begins to play through the arena speakers, as the house lights dim and a purple, aqua and blue light show begins near the entrance way. At first, said light show is illuminating nothing in particular; after a few moments, however, the curtain begins to noticeably stir until, after a few more seconds, a young man emerges from the back. Taking no more than a second to survey the scene in front of him, the youth then promptly crouches, head bowed, clearly waiting for some sort of cue. He remains in this position for several more moments, as the song slowly begins to build to a crescendo, until finally...
'I CAN FLY!!!'
...he explodes upwards in a leap, arms outstretched!
As the house lights come back up, the youth takes off down the ramp at a run, arms still outstretched to mimick the wings of a plane. He lets as many fans as possible graze his fingers with theirs all the way to ringside, then takes an additional lap around the ring, slapping hands with every child he spots in the front row. Only once this goal is accomplished does he nimbly leap up onto the apron, holding onto a turnbuckle for balance as he steps through the ropes and into the ring. Once inside the squared circle, he continues to limber up until it is time to step forward and face his opponent, to whom he makes a point of offering a sporting handshake before the bell. He then takes his fighting stance, ahead of the start of the match.
Alara: Introducing first, the Frequent Flyer...Miles A. Way!
Going down Fighting by Unleash The Archers kicks in as the fans are cheering for this. Out Come KPN and looks at the fans who are cheering for her. Sparkles are coming down from the roof with KPN walking to the ring with elegance. She gets in the ring, takes off her robe and taunts the fans clapping for her.
Alara: Next, Kelly Penkzee-Nelson...K! P! N!
Entrance: The lights in the arena go out as all focus goes towards the titentron Where we see, the image of the Statue of Liberty standing majestically before it’s covered by a super-imposed waving American flag that takes up the whole screen, with a Bald Eagle super-imposed over that…. Stood in front of both is “ACTION” Jack Jackson, staring into the distance, looking proud, and saluting….and superimposed in front of all that is the image of the same man staring out to the crowd, eyes wide, muscles straining in sheer intensity as he screams
“AMERRRRRRRRRRIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIICCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCAAAAAA”
-BOOM-
Red White and Blue pyro explodes on the stage as a totally original, totally not like any other song you might have heard before begins to play
AM-RI-CA
AM-RI-CA
“Action” Jack Jackson, explodes on to the stage in all his red white and blue baby oily glory screaming out “OH YEAH BABY!” encouraging the fans to sing along with the greatest theme song in wrestling today as he storms down the ramp, INTENSELY as he embraces the crowd’s love. Women faint. Men cry. An old cripple war vet for the first time in thirty years stands up from his wheelchair , just to salute Action Jack Jackson. He eventually gets up, leaps over the top rope athletically as he flexes one more time...for America.
Alara: And now, Jack "Action" Jackson!
With all three standing in the ring, the referee shows the title to all three competitors, before presenting it to the fans (a loud pop from the crowd following this.)
Trey: And Gus D'Angelo holds up the brand new International Title...
Case: That is one pretty belt. I give it to whoever's designing these titles.
Miles, KPN and Action all stand in their respective corners. They all look back and forth at one another, nodding.
DING!
DING!
DING!
Trey: You know there's no bad blood between anyone in this match, but you still gotta wonder what winning that belt means to them.
Case: And what they'll do to get it!
All three are hesitant to lock up with one another, or make any kind of move. Everyone paces slowly, feeling one another out...
Trey: So far, nobody seems anxious to start throwin' shots...
Case: Sooner or later, someone's got to start mixing it up!
Finally, Miles and KPN strike - by pushing Action Jackson back into the corner. Gus steps in, prepared to issue a five-count to demand a clean break. Action shoves both of them away, one with each hand, to a sizeable cheer.
Case: And that makes a lot of sense! Action is the big dog in the fight...
Trey: But can they handle the strength of the American hero?
Miles tries to climb up Action's back to do a headscissors, but is slammed down with a standing powerslam. KPN jumps onto his back, but Action puts her in the turnbuckles by just allowing himself to stumble backwards to the corner.
Case: So far, the answer is no!
With Action still in the corner, Miles rushes in with a fast front dropkick to squish both of them in!
Trey: Miles A. Way with quick thinking and quicker feet!
Action stumbles out of the corner, right into a drop toe hold. Miles tries to transition into a side headlock, and does...but when both of them stand up, Action merely picks Miles up and prepares for an atomic drop!
Case: The power! Feel the power, Trey!
Miles tries to kick his legs, but Action has him...rotates around...KPN comes out of the corner!!!
Trey: K! P! N! GREAT MOVE!
Case: That deserves a replay! Look at this on the split screen! Miles hits the bulldog to reverse that atomic drop, thanks to a well-placed baseball slide to knock Action Jackson's legs right out from under him!
Trey: And she rolled out of the way just in the nick of time!
KPN stands back up, just as Miles does. Miles takes the advantage with a step-up enziguiri, not only kicking KPN but landing a moonsault onto Jack's back!
Trey: Miles doing a little but of involuntary teamwork there!
Case: The little shit does have some moves, but he's barking up a really big tree here...
Trey: And KPN is still in this thing!
KPN wasn't knocked down from Miles' feint kick, and when Miles tries to approach her with a lockup, KPN hits a go-behind for a rear waistlock! Miles goes to the ropes! He hangs on, KPN is rolled back! Miles rushes at her with a spinning heel kick...
Trey: BOOM! ACTION JACKSON WITH THE SURPRISE LARIAT!
Miles is flat on the mat, birds flying around his head.
Case: Holy shit! He got pancaked, Trey!
KPN rushes past Action, using the ropes in front of him to gain momentum. She leaps at him with a crossbody, but Action just catches her, steps up...and hits a fall away slam-NO! KPN hangs on! Crucifix roll up...maybe? No! Action backs up to the ropes...standing fireman's carry!
Trey: Action and Kelly going back and forth here!
KPN breaks out of the standing fireman's carry, wriggling herself back to a standing base. Action grabs for her again, and they lean back into the ropes...
SNAP!
Case: FUCK!
Trey: The rope just came off!
A bolt on one of the top rope's turnbuckle comes loose, sending the belt and the buckle falling to the ring along with the bolt flying off towards ringside. Action and KPN roll out of the ring, both hitting the apron on the way to the floor. Miles, who had just gotten back up, was about to grab the rope when it slacks in his hand!
Trey: Oh my goodness!
Case: I watched them tighten that thing before the show! I told them to do another half turn, but no! Nobody listens to the veteran!
Miles sees his opponents on the outside, and Gus is affirming to him that the match will continue. Action has KPN in a powerbomb position, about to drop her into the ring over the middle (now top) rope. KPN tries to hang onto Action the best she can, squeezing at his head with her legs and pulling at it with her hands. In the end, Action still manages to throw her into the ring...
Trey: Whoa!
KPN hits the rope with the back of her thighs...where she is met by a backslide pin attempt from Miles! Action is caught on the fallen top rope while trying to climb back in the ring!
Trey: Wait! Miles going for a quick one here!
One!
Two!
THREE!
Trey: MILES DOES IT AGAIN!
Case: Jesus Christ, are you kidding me? That buckle came flying off, Trey! Unsafe! Work! Enviromnent!
Miles cannot believe it, even when his music is playing. All he can say to Gus is, "you sure that wasn't just two?" Gus raises three fingers, nods, and Miles stands to hand his hand raised and be handed the new TW International Championship.
Trey: The Frequent Flyer lost contact with the tower, but still found a way to bring it home! Miles A. Way is the first Trinity International Championship!
Case: I bet you that KPN and Action will definitely be wanting a rematch though! Can you say controversy?
Trey: I understand, but Gus didn't stop the match and he continued to count the pinfall. It's in the books, and now Miles A. Way has done it...
KPN, in good sportsmanship, congratulates Miles in the middle of the ring. Miles does his best to soothe her disappointment, and they share a brief and mild embrace of respect. KPN exits the ring, and Action (stopping to talk to Gus after finally getting untangled from the ropes) also gives Miles a fist dap and a nod of respect.
Trey: There's gonna be another fight for both Kelly and Jack...but on this night, Miles rose above the competition and now his name is in the history books!
Miles stands in the middle of the ring, looking into the title with half a tear in his eye. He blinks, changes his grasp on the belt, and holds it high with a loud shout. The crowd bursts into cheers with him, as the closing logos and credits appear onscreen.
Trey: Until next time, folks! Good night!
The closing logos and credits suddenly disappear, much earlier than usual...and we don't fade to black....
