Chelsea would bounce back from losing the Rev1 International Championship in her second defence by picking up the win over Jessie Lee, however they would meet again at Glory where a one night tournament was being held! The winner of this rematch would go on to face the winner of the match between her and Jessie would go on to face the winner of the match between Vespertine and Jason Ryan whilst the winner of Toni Beasley vs. Talia Skye would go on to face the World Champion Jin Min Jun and if Chelsea won both of her matches she would face the winner of that match in the Main Event! Can Chelsea go all the way?

Ow my fucking head.
I’ve had what many would call a busy week! We finally finalized the title of Krawling Khaos’s third album (Of Gods and Machines: The Mechanical Pantheon) but aside from some riffs that I’ve been developing with my guitar teacher Taylor I wasn’t able to get much work on it done before I left Chicago for New York and I bet that’s raising another question, why am I in New York when I rarely leave Chicago for anything that isn’t a wrestling event that I’m working.
Simple: I’m making my EWC debut soon!
Okay granted, I’m debuting on the dark match before next week’s episode of Monday Night Brawl but considering that I’m wrestling a guy who’s stuck in thee 1980s, I’m not worried! On top of that, I had to go down south for my first defence of the SRW Overdrive Championship against Blair Jackson which was a first blood match that ended in a draw, how does a First Blood Match end in a draw you ask? When the ref can’t tell who shed blood first, that’s how!
I retained the title but I’m definitely feeling the effects of that match! And I’ve still got the Rev1 Glory Tournament to come!
”You sure as hell know how to turn my mood around babe.” I groaned as I sat across from Sarah, one of my goals with this trip to New York was too try New York style pizza and that’s why we’re in this pizzeria. ”I’m tired, sore and my head hurts like hell but I’ll never say no to a pizza slice!”
”Chelsea, we’re from Chicago, if you had turned down the offer for pizza I’d have reason to call your sisters for a mental health check.” Sarah teased me and I chuckled whilst shaking my head. ”How are your stitches anyway?”
”All ten of them will be out once we return to Chicago, until then they are going to itch and irritate the hell out of me!” I sighed as we looked over the menu. ”I know the match between me and Blair was a First Blood Match so that was kinda inevitable but that was my first time bleeding in a wrestling match and that wasn’t fun! At least the Glory Tournament in Rev1 will be relatively easy.”
”I’m not so sure, it’s a one night tournament and your facing Jessie Lee again in the opening round, then you’ve got either Jalen Price or Jason Ryan in the second round, then you’ve got either Toni Beasley, Talia Skye or the World Champ in the final round.” Sarah pointed out and I frowned as I looked over the menu. ”That’s a tall order for any wrestler, never mind a rookie like you!”
”I know I can beat Lee, Ryan and Toni! My last match in Rev1 was a win over Jessie, I’ve beaten Jason in both Rev1 and Level Up and Toni was the woman who I beat to win my first ever title, but the rest of the field I’m less sure about.” I commented as I made my choice and ordered the Meat Stuffed Pizza. ”My last match against Jin ended in my first defeat as champ, Vespertine beat me in her debut match and whilst I’ve wanted to get my hands on Talia since she stole the International Championship from me, she’s beaten me twice.”
”I know you can do it Chelsea but you’ve just got to get over this doubt in your mind.” Sarah assured me and I grinned in response. ”Besides, I’m surprised you have any self-doubt since you are a two time champion.”
”Maybe but my first ever reign ended in a bullshit way and I only retained the Overdrive Championship because Blair got careless with that chair! I’m fully expecting her to demand a rematch, but I’ll be up to Melinda was to whether it takes place.” I explained with a sigh as Sarah made her choice from the menu and almost on cue the waitress came over to take our orders. ”I guess I’ll have to take my mind off things with some good food.”
”Considering that I can’t cheer you up the usual way without us being arrested for indecent exposure it’ll have to do.” Sarah teased me and I shook my head in response. ”We’ll just have to save that for when we get back to the hotel.” Sarah added with a cheeky wink and I shook my head.
”You know I normally don’t say no to sex with you Sarah, but I need to video call Chloe to check on Valkyrie as soon as we’re back in the hotel.” I explained and Sarah nodded in understanding. ”I know she was looking after Valkyrie before I got her for my twenty third birthday last December and I know she’s good with dogs but this is the longest we’ve been away from Valkyrie so I can’t help but worry.”
”If I could’ve booked a dog friendly hotel I would’ve, but all the dog friendly hotels in Albany were fully booked.” Sarah admitted and I nodded in understanding. ”I know Chloe was happy took after Valkyrie for us especially considering how last minute the trip to Albany was but next time I will be prioritising dog friendly hotels.”
”I don’t mind either way but thanks for the assurance.” I thanked my girlfriend before our pizzas arrived.
As good as sex with Sarah is, I had to admit my pizza was delicious! But my win in the Glory Tournament will be even tastier.

One long night.
”I would’ve been happy with just getting that bounce back win against Jessie on the last Saturday Night Sin, but Glory is right around the corner and so is the one night Glory Tournament! Go ahead and take a guess as to who I’m facing in round one, if you guessed Jessie Lee again then congrats, you get to enjoy the prize of watching me kick her ass again! Only this time I won’t be done after one match!”
Buckle in folks!
”Because when I get my win over Jessie I’ll go on to face either Jason Ryan or Vespertine in round two! Now Jason is someone I’d be okay with facing because I’ve beaten his ass twice in a row! Once in Rev1 when I defended the International Championship against him and again over in Level Up in a random match a few weeks ago! On the other hand, we have Vespertine who beat me in her debut match for Rev1! So, either I continue my winning streak against Jason or avenge my loss against Vespertine, either way I’m not stopping at round two, it’ll just be a case of whether I’ll have an easy time in round two or not!”
Round three, fight!
”And then we come to the third and final round where I’ll face either of these three wrestlers, the World Champ Jin Min Jun, Toni Beasley or the BITCH who stole my title Talia Skye! Err, yeah I may have just revealed who I want to face out of that trio and spoiler alert: it’s not Jin or Toni! In other words, it’s a long trip down the Road to Glory but considering I took a two hour flight from Chicago to New York for my EWC debut I’m along for the ride.”
Let’s talk about my opposition in detail.
”Jessie, when we faced off on the last episode of Saturday Night Sin, I was still pissed off from how my International Title Reign ended, have I cooled down since then? Maybe, trying to remain professional for my first ever EWC promo helped a bit with that, that’s all I’m saying, but I still beat you when I was angry, how do you think you’re going to fair when your facing me when I’m calm, cool and collected? I’ll let the results speak for themselves!”
Next up in Jason.
”In the immortal words of this legendary line from SpongeBob SquarePants, how many times do I have to teach you this lesson old man?! We faced in an International Championship match here in Rev1, my first defence of the title for that matter, I retained, we faced off in Level Up for reasons and I beat you again, are you hoping that the third time will be the charm when we face off at Glory? Well first you have to get passed……..”

”Vespertine! The last time we faced off was in your debut match for Rev1 which you won but a lot has changed since that match, I’m a lot more confident, I’ve held two championships in my young career and I’m ready for whatever challenges this one night tournament throws my way and if that means me tying our little series at one win a piece during my rise to the top? So be it!”
Now for the other bracket.
”Seeing as how there’s three potential opponents waiting for me in the final round I’ll go through them in the order I’ve faced them before, naturally that starts with the woman I beat for the International Championship Toni Beasley! Is your ego all healed up from that defeat Toni? It’s been four months after all, or is the fact that I’m bringing it up again reopening old wounds? Well, regardless I’ll beat you again if we meet in this tournament!”
But first……..
”But for us to meet in the final, you have to get past the World Champion himself In Min Jun! Jin the last time we faced off you beat me in a Champion vs. Champion Match which ended up being my last ever match as champion but more on the bitch who stole me title in a bit! I’m determined to win this tournament Jin and I’m not letting the World Champion get in my way of that goal so if we do meet in the final round, you’re in for a fight that you will lose! But there’s one last person in this tournament and I’ve saved her for last!”

”FUCK YOU TALIA! Sorry, sorry, I tried to be professional but when dealing with a thieving BITCH who couldn’t beat me fair and square and had to cheap shot me to win MY TITLE, well, any semblance of professionalism went out the window! I hope that we meet in the finals Talia because I’ve wanted to punch your face in since you stole the International Championship from me but then again, I could always cost you your spot in the tournament, either way you’ll find out that karma’s just like me when I’m angry, a bitch!”
It's that simple.
”Look, I’m not about to sit here and pretend that this will be an easy night for me because if I want to come out on top I’ll have to wrestle not once, not twice but three times! And considering that the field includes two legitimate champions and a fucking thief, that’s not going to be easy to say the least , especially when I’ve got one of those champions in round one! But am I up to the challenge?”
And with that I decided to wrap things up.
”At Glory, no matter how the night ends for me I will lay it all on the line and even though I know it won’t be easy, I will prevail! Jessie, Jason, Vespertine, Jin, Toni and that fucking thief Talia will be tough competition for me in this tournament but I will not bow down as I go through the competition like a hot knife through butter and by the end of the night, the last woman standing will be “The Nightmare Angel” Chelsea Skye as I show everyone else in the tournament why the Skyes the Limit!”
