Revo I've been just spitting straight truth since I came back haven't I? Clocked Pettis like I said I would and walked out champ. Her and Mags dropped off the face of the earth since. Then in the Champ Champ Showdown from last Sin I put Chelsea in her place, made it damn clear who is the top dog in the yard. I've called my shots and hit every target. That's the plan going forward. Continue to call shots. Continue to hit targets. Get the prize money. Repeat.
So why am I talking now? I ain't even got a match this Sin. Two card match and Jin Min-jun's name is no where near it. And it's true. I have no match. I have no reason to be pipin' up. But I'm making a reason. See I notice there's an open battle royal. Open. Anyone can join. And the winner doesn't just walk out with a few extra coins in their pockets. Nahh they also get a bye in the Glory tournament.
But Jin, you might be asking, why would you care about that? You're world champ. while that Glory tournament is going on you'll be defending your championship. Y'all are right. But I sat there and I thought about it. I thought about what the Glory tournament means to me. That was the first night anyone here took me as a credible threat. It was the first night this company saw that the Brooklyngun wasn't just some curtain jerker in over his heart. I showed my damn heart that night. And my heart... it wants that feeling again.
I'll lay it all out. I plan to walk into this battle royal and toss every disposable name out of the ring 'til I'm standing tall. I'll earn a bye in a tournament I made my name off of. At Glory I will do just what I did last year. I'll run through the tournament that I'm not supposed to win. AND I'll defend my championship against... I don't know... probably Jason Ryan or Jalen Prince. They always seem to get title shots. And I'll raise my title high with no one to challenge me. And then I'll hold the cards. As Glory winner and champ.... I'll pick my challenger. I'll pick someone to step up.
Is it this against the rules? Is this against the way it works here in Revo? I don't care. Vespertine gets to pick whichever team she wants to work with halfway through a match. Jalen Prince somehow has a job still. Jason Ryan loses and still gets championship shots. There's no logic. There's no "way it works" here. The rules don't matter. So I'll make my own.
