Chelsea’s first defence was in the books as she retained the International Title over Jason Ryan! At the next Tuesday Night Sin however she had a test of a different kind as she was facing the World Champion Jin Min-Jun! Neither title was on the line but a win over the champ would be huge for Chelsea, can she keep the win streak going?

Been a while since I’ve had the chance to do this.
No, I’m not talking about wrestling, I get to do that weekly for fuck’s sake and in October I’ll be working an event that’s basically a paid vacation to Hawaii! Not talking about my band either, we hang out on the regular and we are getting gigs pretty consistently, usually as the openers or main support but still! What I’m talking about is a chance to just hang out with my three sisters, Chloe, Toni and Liz, and honestly? That’s pretty much on me.
What can I say? Most of my time these days is taken up by me either wrestling or playing in my band, sometimes on the same night!
Speaking of wrestling, I have several big matches coming up in Level Up, PWE, SRW and my focus for my promo later Rev1, why am I prioritising the later? Easy, I felt like it! Well, that and it’s a Champion vs. Champion match against the World Champion Jin Min-Jun! My title isn’t on the line and neither is Jin’s but a win over the champion would do a lot for me in Rev1 and I’m pretty sure that I don’t need to explain why!
As for my other matches? I’ll cover them later in the week, what can I say? I’m a busy woman!
”It’s been so long since we’ve had a chance to just sit down and chat.” I admitted as I sat down opposite my three older sisters, for those who don’t remember Chloe, Toni and Liz, well you know how I’m an anti-religion metalhead who prefers to wear as little clothing as legally possible? Yeah, my sisters are basically the complete opposite of me, the only reason I didn’t cut off all ties with them like I did with my parents is simple, they aren’t bitches about it! ”I mean yeah, I’ve been busy myself but still.”
“To be fair Chelsea, we’ve been busy ourselves.” Chloe assured me as I made myself comfy. “I graduated from culinary school a few days into the New Year and I’ve been working at a restaurant as a prep cook over since.”
“And I’m still working away at my law degree, that’s been slow as heck.” Toni admitted with a shrug and I nodded as I got the idea. “I’m beginning to think that you and Chloe selected “easy mode” when you chose your career paths.”
”It wasn’t always that easy Toni, or do I need to remind you of my first few months in PWE? Or my relationship with my ex and how that ended?” I asked and Toni nodded once she realized that I had a point. ”And don’t get me started on my band! Trying to make a Death Metal band profitable is hard, fun but hard! Anyway, what about you Liz? What have you been up too?”
“I’m a doctor in the middle of a goddamn pandemic, how do you think?!” Liz asked with an annoyed tone and I gave her a surprised look, not for the pandemic part because that went without saying really but because this meal out was her idea. “Sorry, these past two weeks has been particularly stressful. I know you meant well by that question.”
”Yeah, I guess that’s fair, almost makes my occasional struggles in wrestling and music seem insignificant by comparison.” I admitted and Liz shook her head in response. ”What? It’s true!”
“Chelsea, we were there for your breakup with Ross remember? And we helped you buy your first guitars remember? And it was me that talked you into finally admitting your feelings for Sarah, don’t act like your struggles don’t matter.” Liz assured me and I nodded as I got the idea. “And don’t even get us started on your suicide attempt.”
”I thought we agreed to never bring that up against after you talked me down?” I asked with an annoyed grunt and my sisters shook their heads. ”Most days I have to be practically swimming in anti-depressants just to get through it! Thankfully Sarah has been around to get me through the rougher days but yeah, I really, REALLY don’t want to talk about that.”
“If you’d prefer not to talk about it then we won’t, but you know we’re still here for you, right Chelsea?” Chloe asked and I nodded in response not really having an answer for them right now. “Good, we may be very different but your still our baby sister.”
“And no, nothing’s changing that, and I think it’s about time that we ordered our food.” Toni chimed in and we nodded in agreement before a waitress came up to take our orders.

”Well, defence number one is in the books and my title reign is starting to come into its own! But next week on Rev1’s Tuesday Night Sin I’m in for a different challenge, a champion vs. champion match against Jin Min-Jun AKA The World Champion, I don’t think I need to point out how big this win will be for my career! Now granted, neither of our titles are on the line so I won’t be adding the World Championship to my burgeoning title collection JUST yet but a win’s a win!”
At least I hope so.
”Jin, you’re a competitor that really needs no introduction because let’s face it, being the World Champion speaks for itself but you need to realize something, I am a rising star in this company and it’s about time that the rest of the Rev1 roster recognized it! I’m not just the metal chich who joined the company with her ex-boyfriend who disappeared off the face of the earth after I broke up with him anymore, I’m a champion in my own right!”
If not, I’ll make them!
”I guess that does kinda sound redundant but I still feel like I have a lot to prove in this company even though I’m the International Champion and have been for a little under a couple of months now, who knows Jin? Maybe this will be the match that clinches that for me? The match where people realize the metal chick who dabbled in porn happens to be a hell of an athlete and wrestler? Being a former Olympic Gymnast helps, that’s all I’m saying!”
It's that simple.
”Okay granted what DOESN’T help is the fact that my Olympic dreams got crushed, alongside my leg, during a car accident that killed my twin brother but my point still stands and besides, I bounced back from that set-back big time and I’ve practically made a wrestling career out of bouncing back from setbacks, don’t believe me for some reason? You want to know when I earned the shot that led to me winning this title? Right after a messy breakup, and no matter what you throw at me I’ll bounce back all the same Jin.”
And with that I decided to wrap things up.
”Because if there’s one thing I’m good at when it comes to wrestling as a whole it’s the bounce back, my reign is living proof of that and in this champion vs. champion match bragging rights might be the only thing at stake but I’ll happily take those bragging rights and run away with them because the “Nightmare Angel” Chelsea Skye’s star is on the rise and the Skyes the Limit for me when that bell rings! See you next Tuesday Jin!”
