Chelsea would ultimately loose the Sara Pettis vs. the World match after giving Sara the best first she had received up to that point, but now with Christmas Chaos being one week away Chelsea needed to get back on the winners side ahead of her title match! Enter newly signed woman’s wrestler Vespertine! The Asian American woman was looking to use Chelsea as a stepping stone for her Rev1 career but anyone who knew Chelsea knew that she wouldn’t go down without a fight! Can Chelsea beat the plucky upstart?

The night is coming fast.
I’ve only been in Rev1 for a short time, but you can’t deny that I’ve made an impact! Earning a shot against Toni Beasley, taking the World Champion to the limit three times over, it’s been a hell of a ride so far.
And yet, some newcomer thinks she can use me as a stepping stone? Please, who does this Vespertine think she is?
I get that she’s the new girl on the block, but I’m not some stepping stone, if she had done her research on me she’d know that but no, she just assumes that she’s facing a nobody.
Joke will be on her.
”Hey guys!” I greeted my bandmates as I entered the studio with Sarah. ”Ready to do some practice?”
“Aren’t we always?” Julian responded as the band’s bassist typed away at his laptop, we realized early on that we’d need a person who could run the social media pages for Krawling Khaos and well, Julian drew the short straw. “And I just booked our first show in the New Year! We’re playing an all day event that has a mix of Death Metal and Thrash Metal bands.”
”At least tell me that they were original enough to not call it Death/Thrash fest?”
“Nah, they had a bit more originality than that.” Trent, Julian’s boyfriend and the drummer, assured us and I grinned in response. “Headhunter and Krushinator are playing the show, so we’ll at least know two bands on the bill.”
”I guess it’ll be my job to keep Chelsea out of the pits in that case.” Sarah teased me as my girlfriend patted me on the head. ”Are there any other bands that Nadia manages on that bill?”
“A couple of others but not ones we’ve met yet, the promoter has a Spotify playlist set up for all the bands anyway.” Taylor responded before she got her guitar ready for our lesson. “I guess the only thing left to do is start rehearsing.”
”At least this gig has a bit more of a warning to go with it, unlike the Be The Fight: Autism afterparty.” Sarah responded with a nod and I gave my girlfriend an annoyed look before we started our practice.

”Twas the night before Christmas Chaos, and all through the land, not a single creature could find, a wrestler more bland! Yeah, I know that was bad, but it was the best I could come up with! Mostly because this week on Tuesday Night Sun I’m taking on the debuting Vespertine in my last match before Christmas Chaos, I don’t think I really need to say why this win is important to me, but I’ll say it anyway.”
Listen closely!
”To make a long story short, my title match against Toni Beasley and Arden Taylor is coming up soon, namely on Christmas Chaos and lately? My luck has been on the downturn! I need to turn that back around if I’m going to stand any chance of winning my first title, it just so happens that the new girl on the block is the only one standing in my way of getting that all important win, sorry Vespertine but I’ve got some bad news for you!”
And it’s not going to get any better.
”You obviously don’t know me that well Vespertine so allow me to give you the rundown! I am a rookie wrestler who is currently setting the wrestling world on fire, how is that possible? Before I enrolled at my wrestling school I was a gymnast, one good enough to be considered for the Olympics at that, what? Did you judge this book by its cover and assumed that I was just some goth chick turned wrestler? Please! For starters I listen to metal, not goth music and second? The only reason I didn’t compete in the Olympics was due to injury and the death of a family member, but that didn’t stop me from carrying over my agility and flexibility from my gymnast days into my wrestling style!”
Translation?
”In other words, I can fly with the best of them, and I have the ground game to go with it! You may see me as a stepping stone but I’m not one to be stepped over or stepped on, instead I’m someone you should take seriously as an opponent, but I guess that will be your detriment when we meet on Tuesday Night Sin, won’t it Vespertine? I’ve been underestimated before and those people soon grew to regret it, I hope you’re ready for me Vespertine because I’m not the easy debut you thought I was!”

”See, whilst this is my debut year in mainstream wrestling, I’ve already accomplished a lot, the Tara Fenix Charity Cruise? Did that and won over the Hive in a tag team match! The Be The Fight: Autism Event just a couple of weeks ago? Not only did I win my match but I beat Yukiko Kusanagi, maybe you’ve heard of her? Slaughterhouse Wrestling’s American Horror Champion? I won the clash of the angels and I’m just getting started, so don’t treat me like a stepping stone!”
It’s that simple.
”Sorry but I have worked my ass off since I made my mainstream debut in August and to be dismissed as a stepping stone for some newbie? Vespertine will soon learn the error of her ways the hard way when we do battle on Tuesday Night Sin and once the final bell rings and I’m having my arm raised in victory, maybe Vespertine will realize that maybe, just maybe, she shouldn’t have overlooked the goth chick with the dyed hair!”
And with that I decided to wrap things up.
”This bears repeating Vespertine, but this is the last match before the biggest match of my wrestling career to date, a Triple Threat Match for the International Championship and if you think I’m about to let some newbie, get the nest of me in penultimate match of my wrestling career in Rev1’s 2021 then you haven’t been paying that much attention, have you? Well, this Tuesday I’ll teach you a hard lesson in respecting your opponents because once that bell rings class will be in session and today’s subject will be “Why the Skye’s the Limit for the “Nightmare Angel” Chelsea Skye 101”, hope you pay attention in class Vespertine!”
I resumed playing with my band as the scene fades.
