This past week has not been kind to Chelsea, not only did the young woman lose the finals of IWF’s The Olympians Tournament (and subsequently walked out of the promotion though not because she lost) but her opportunity to win her first match in PWE was stolen from her again when, despite the match in question being a Fatal Five Way for a title shot that was one fall to a finish, La Andalucera ran interference and prevented her from breaking up the deciding pinfall.
But she was never one to let a setback like that stop her! Chelsea had her debut for Level Up Wrestling coming up and she also was in action on Tuesday Night Sin, competing in a Main Event Tag Team Match against The Psykotics, only problem? Her partner was Toni Beasley, the very woman Chelsea was set to challenge for the International Championship in Rev1! Can she bounce back from a downright rotten week and win?

God, can this week end already?
I guess there’s no way of getting around it, my departure from the IWF is well known by now and I’ve already had one guy (my partner in my debut for Level Up Wrestling no less) accuse me of quitting because I lost.
All I’m going to say about that is if I felt that strongly about losing, I would’ve left PWE by now because that’s still the one and only fed where I’ve yet to pick up a win! I can’t even say that I lost my last PWE match fairly because the win was stolen from me AGAIN! I know I’m a rookie, I know that any veteran I face is going to take advantage of any mistakes I make in the ring and exploit them, but there’s a key difference between me and most rookies my age.
I’m only twenty two, yet I’ve been setting the wrestling world on first since I signed with PWE, IWF and Rev1, Denzel Porter was excited for my signing to Level Up, that should tell you everything.
Thing is, I’m a wrestling prodigy who’s had a hell week, combine that with depression and anxiety? Yeah, I may be a beautiful young woman on the outside, but the inside isn’t pretty!
”Ugh! What now?!” I grunted as my internal monologue was interrupted by a Skype call, though my mood did lighten a bit when I saw that it was from my older sisters and since Sarah was out at the moment I answered it. ”Hey guys, I’m getting no prizes for guessing what this call is about, aren’t I?” I greeted my sisters before asking that question upon seeing the looks on their faces.
“We’re just checking in on you, we know you haven’t had an easy week.” Liz assured me and I nodded before shifting my weight. “And it’s like I said on that night you admitted your feelings for Sarah, you know you can talk to us.”
”We’ll just ignore the fact that your first instinct was to ask if she had turned abusive.” I commented dryly, and Liz shook her head whilst Chloe and Toni shot her dirty looks. ”I don’t feel close to a crash, but if I hadn’t admitted my feelings for Sarah, I think that combined with the bad week would’ve caused me to crash and burn by now.”
“Chelsea, you know we’re only a call away if you ever feel that low, plus you have Sarah living with you.” Chloe responded and I nodded after letting out a deep breath. “Where is Sarah anyway? The last time we called you she was in the same room with you……..”
“And we interrupted you two whilst you were getting busy in bed.” Toni deadpanned and I let out a sheepish giggle. “You almost had us fooled since the call came early enough, but then you forgot to clean Sarah’s lipstick from your neck.”
”Nothing like a call from the relatives to kill the mood.” I grunted before letting out a sigh. ”As for Sarah, she went out to get something for dinner about forty minutes ago, should be back soon.”
“That reminds me, how is Sarah’s cooking compared to mine?” Chloe asked and I had to think on that one, for a very good reason. “I know I’m the top of my class at culinary school and all but I did give you guys some pointers before you moved out.”
”Good to know that you’re putting that student loan to good use.” I muttered under my breath before shaking my head. ”She’s no culinary student but then again, neither am I, though saying that, she can cook the basics really well, long as you don’t ask us to cook a beef wellington or deconstruct a Risotto we will be okay, generally speaking.”
“Well, there goes my planned menu for when you have us around.” Chloe joked getting a laugh out of all of us. “Seriously, you have nothing to fear there, I wouldn’t know the first thing about cooking a beef wellington and my main instructor is an old school Italian chef, the last time someone asked about deconstructing any traditional Italian dishes he nearly walked out on the class, right there and then.”
”I take it he’s not a fan of pineapple on pizza then?” I asked jokingly, and Chloe giggled before nodding. ”Sounds like we’d get on just fine.”
“He might be a bit too old school for your liking, but as far as food opinions go? Yeah, definitely.” Chloe nodded in response, and I could’ve sworn I heard the door opening downstairs. “When’s Krawling Khaos’s first gig again?”
”Next Friday, setlist is all ready to go.” I responded with a nod before thinking for a second. ”Well, I say setlist but it’s more like “select tracks from our debut album plus Requiem for a Dead God” it’s a short set, about thirty minutes, so we’re trying to make the most of it with the shorter, faster tracks from the album.”
“Send us the location and we’ll be there, mostly to see the looks on peoples faces when they hear the Banjo intro to Swamp Witch Cult.” Liz added and I nodded before doing just that. “We have to go in any case, but we’re glad to see you feeling better.”
”We’ll see if that carries through to next week, but I’ll see you then.” I responded before they hung up, once I closed Skype I found myself in my own little world eventually loading up one of the “Vegas Tapes”, this one staring me and a guy, by the time it reached the climax with me on top I heard a voice ring out from behind me.
”Wow, they let the Super Bottom get on top during the Vegas trip.” Sarah’s teasing voice rang out right as the *ahem* climax happened, and I briefly glanced up at my girlfriend.
”Most of the guys outweighed me by at least a hundred pounds, this guy included, just saying, it would’ve been uncomfortable for me to be on the bottom all the time……..” I trailed off before I promptly span around. ”Sarah, how long have you been standing there?”
”Long enough to watch the whole thing, and if you were that good with your male partners than your ex is missing out.” Sarah added, and I promptly shook my head.
”Can we please not talk about him?” I asked before I felt my stomach rumble. ”And I hope you got something good for dinner.” I added, and Sarah nodded before leading me downstairs.

Yeah I’m doing a promo from the studio my band uses, what of it? At least Trent gets to be the camera guy!
”I know this meme died when last year finally ended but I think it’s still apt, if 2020 was a week in my life, this past week would be it! From walking out of the IWF for personal reasons and not because I lost the finals of the Olympians Tournament too getting robbed of my first win PWE again, next week had better be an improvement! And that improvement over my one bad week will start on Tuesday Night Sin where I team up with Toni to take on the Psykotics!”
Oh joy.
”Teaming the champ up with one of her next challengers to take on a team that features the world champion, what can go wrong? Everything let’s be honest with ourselves because my record against my opponents is spotty at best, which is a nice way of saying that I have lost twice to Damien and that includes a singles match! This match won’t be a repeat of my first encounter with the Psykotics, I can assure you of that!”
Or my second.
”This is a conflict of interests if I’ve ever seen one, I need a win for momentum heading into my first ever title match, Toni needs a win, so she has momentum heading into that title match against me and Arden! Only way this could be more stacked is if Arden herself was the special guest referee, but I guess Rev1’s bosses felt that that was a step to far, so that leaves me with one question?”
It’s that simple.
”Can I coexist with Toni to get the win, or will we fall to the Psykotics? I know the competitor in me wants the win, but can we cooperate for the greater good? Well, my track record in that regard isn’t really spotless considering that I couldn’t cooperate with my ex to pick up one last win as Skyeson but a bitter falling out and breakup isn’t quote the same as teaming with the champ you’ll be challenging in the near future, isn’t it?”
And with that I decided to wrap things up.
”The wrestling business is a weird one, where else would I ask a question like that? But I need the win beyond just the fact that I need momentum heading into my first ever title match, it just so happens that my tag team partner is the champion I’ll be facing for the title but The Nightmare Angel Chelsea Skye will prevail over the Psykotics because when that bell rings, the Skyes the Limit!”
I went back to my guitar practice as the scene fades.
