REVO1 PRESENTS
TUESDAY NIGHT LEGACY
11/09/21
Standing in the ring, the newest quadruple power posse allowed the live North Carolina crowd to unleash a bevy of chaotic cheers for Lee-Jin while some less enthusiastic cheers flew in the direction of Khaos and Cerise. Rightfully so, some might think. The vicious and barbaric post-match beating that they had delivered on the last episode of SIN was equal parts morally grey and entertaining; a very middle ground. Even so, it wasn't until the Rising Star Champion held the microphone she held above her head did the crowd finally begin to settle enough for them to speak, WIth a genuine smile that melted frozen hearts, Jessie lowered the microphone and.......
Jessie: REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEVOLUTION ONE! How good is it to be here in Charlotte, North Carolina tonight?
As one might expect from an already piping hot crowd of wrestling fanatics, the crowd lit up like a firestorm once again! However, the Australian didn't give them long until she began again.
Jessie: Yeah, Yeah! That's what I was thinkin' too! HA! HA! However, we gotta cool our jets a bit and put this lovefest in neutral. Cause, as ya can all see, it ain't just me and Jinnie standin' here proud and ready to rumble. Ya see, this here ol' Khaos fella and the cooky crackle of lightnin' that is Cerise is also standin' with us.
At the mention of Khaos and Cerise, the crowd began to once more profess their unique blend of cheers and boos that were quite subdued. Playing off of the tension she felt from the Charlotte crowd, Jessie comically tugged the choker she wore around her neck and looked over at Khaos, who merely offered a partial shrug in return. Then, with an equally comedic shrug of her own towards the camera, Jessie continued.
Jessie: Well, socially awkward brood-tal beatdowns aside; do ya wanna know why we're out here like this? Why we ain't verbally tryin' to murk each other into oblivion? Well, you'd have to ask them in all honesty. I'm just here to do a couple of things 'fore me an' ol' Maggledoodles deliver y'all another blood-covered main event that'll do the memory of the Horrorcore strap proud; the Horrorcore Hottie can promise you that. As for the other thing? Well.......
Taking a moment to look around at the three compatriots that were sharing the ring with her, Jessie couldn't help but continue wearing that big old genuine grin.
Jessie: These three are some of the BEST that we have in Revo One, an' I know ya might not believe it, but they kinda share in the same ideal that I've been crowin' about for the last several months. You know the one; about how I'm puttin' this company on my back an' leadin' by example when it comes to bein' the best. See, unlike most of the scrubs that come through a Revo One locker room, these guys understand and feel the same. We WANT this place to strive and thrive. We WANT this place to be the very best that it can be. So, here we are; a big ol' supergroup of fighters ready an' willin' to throw ourselves into the fight an' do what it takes to continue rasin' this company up...........by bein' the BEST.
With her eyes deadset on the hard camera, Jessie moved to the ropes; laced a leg over the second and wedged her foot behind the bottom; and leaned forward; an honest intensity in her eyes.
Jessie: It ain't 'bout holdin' gold; it's the fuckin' mindset that sets us apart from the rest of ya.
Freeing her leg and pushing herself away, the moxie-filled powerhouse flippantly tossed the microphone into the air and over to the next person who wanted to speak.
Like a bouquet of flowers thrown during a post-wedding ceremony, the microphone flew into the air and crashed to the canvas. Jessie turned around at the screech of the microphone-hitting-mat as the three members eyed each other up. Apparently, neither was in a hurry to be the next one up to bat. Finally, Cerise heaved a sigh and reached down; blowing in the microphone a few times to make sure that it still worked. As she brought the mic to her lips, the crowd continued to rain down a mixed chorus of boos and cheers.
Cerise: Like my girl Jessie just said, it’s not about the gold – though it sure does help to have it, am I right?
Cerise eyed up each member in the faction, each holding their own respective titles.
Cerise: I’m guessing that you all – like everyone back in that locker room – didn’t see this coming, am I right? I mean, there’s NO WAY that Khaos, Cerise, Jin Min-jun, and Jessie Lee could POSSIBLY co-exist together in a ring. And yet, here we stand, united – drawn together by one very important fact, we HATE Jason Ryan!
Khaos steps forward and says something in Cerise’s ear as she looks over at him shocked.
Cerise: Wait… what do you mean you “think he’s kind of cool”…!?
Khaos shrugs his shoulders slightly as the other two laugh.
Cerise: Fine, that’s not the WHOLE reason we allied ourselves. The main reason is that we joined forces because we… well… because we could! Because we saw in each other the same fire and passion that has been on display for you all for almost an entire year! The moment we stepped foot inside this company, the landscape changed. People come, people go, but there’s one thing that remains… and that’s US!
Cerise handed the microphone off to Khaos as he stepped forward, drawing the most about of jeers from the crowd.
Khaos: It’s amazing how quickly you all turn on your heroes. Am I not the same Khaos that single-handedly vanquished the Left Hand? Am I not the same Khaos that has held onto this World Championship since the end of March!? I’ve faced all-comers, given everyone their fair shot at this title, and now… because I deem Sara Pettis unworthy… you all paint me as the villain! Christmas Chaos is the BIGGEST show of the year for Revo1. Hell, it’s even got MY name in the damn title… though they – clearly – misspelled it. I digress, is it so wrong for me to want to be able to face a worthy competitor? Maggie made her choice and she and Jin will get the main event. Jessie already has that multi-promotional match in the books. But where is MY match!?
Khaos seemed to be getting heated as he approached the ropes, staring into the camera.
Khaos: I’ve been carrying this company on my back for months! I’m the reason this company is even still operational! These people that you all cheer over me, they exist because I allow them to! I told Sara Pettis that I saw potential in her! I wanted her to be my next challenge! I gave her the biggest stage in the world to prove herself and what did she do? SHE disappointed ME… SHE let ME down... SHE let HERSELF down… hell, SHE let all of YOU down! Suffice it to say, she is not who I thought she was or could be. I mean, just last week, I literally handed her the victory. All she had to do was pick up that chair and strike Brandon over the head with it. Would it’ve been the honorable thing to do? Obviously not. But if you want to be Champion, you need to be able to show that you’re willing to do WHATEVER it takes! And time after time, Sara has shown me that she doesn’t have that in her. I’m done waiting for the decision to be made for me. If Cecilia Ortiz and Kylie Moore don’t name a #1 Contender for MY World Championship at Christmas Chaos, and do it soon, then I’ll do what needs to be done and I’ll take matters into my own hands.
More boos as Khaos turned and handed the microphone to Jin Min-jun, which immediately prompted the fans to turn their frowns upside down as they cheered and chanted for the Legendary Champion.
Jin: Ya fam I know he’s cheery as fuck… but I mean he’s just so hot though right? Gotta cheer that at least. But as the rest of this crew has said we joined up because we wanted to, because we could. We got that same mindset that keeps us above everyone in this company. It’s the fire, that kill or be killed. But here’s the thing we ain’t no Left Hand tryin’ to destroy people. Nahh we want y’all to come up to our level. We want Revo to put other feds to shame with the talent level here.
The crowd begins to chant “Revo-lution!”.
Jin: Exactly! This company is that revolution in wrestling and who better to lead that revolution that the Mount Rushmore of Revo One? Not a damn person or crew. So you get that demonic bad boy, the insane asylums favorite girl, the queen of punchin’ drongos, and the deadliest bartender serving a round of shots…. You put together this misfit group of badasses who have worked harder, fought tougher, and bled more.. You put them together and you get … Death Row. And we puttin’ all you folks on notice… your sentence is up… the judge and jury have spoken and we are your firing squad.
At that moment, “For the Glory” hits as Michael Diamond and Cassandra Starr-Diamond emerge from the back, to a mixed bag of cheers and boos, though their actions as-of-late seem to be lingering more on that latter.
Michael Diamond: Whoa, whoa, whoa… I’m not sure what the four of you think you’re doing but this ISN’T Tuesday Night Sin; you don’t just get to go around and hijack a show like this.
Cassandra Starr-Diamond: That’s right, Michael. Jessie… Jin… while we’re “happy” the two of you have branched out and found some new friends, I’m afraid we’re going to have to cut this little soiree of yours short. See, those two are a part of the Tuesday Night Sin roster and – therefore – have no actual business being here.
Michael Diamond: What is it about Revolution1 and these wrestlers showing up on the wrong shows? First with the Cowgirls from Hell trying to show up on Sin last week and now the PsyKhotics showing up on our show this week? This is getting a little redundant, if I must say so myself. Luckily though, that’s why we have these guys on hand…
Michael Diamond motions to the back as a pack of security guards file out and begin to make their way down to the ring.
As the security detail began to march their way down to the ring, Jessie snatched the microphone from her fellow Lee-Jin member's hand; addressing the guards first.
Jessie: Easy now fellas. I suggest y'all stop 'fore I start playin punchout with all yer faces, savvy?
After a moment of hesitation, the guards simply came to a stop at the bottom of the ramp. Where everyone's attention was turned back towards the esteemed General Managers of Legacy.
Jessie: Now that cooler heads are showin' up allow me to turn things up just a wee notch, yeah? DIAMONDUDS; I'm glad ya finally decided to show your smilin' faces! It's quite a sight! Now, I'mma make myself perfectly clear here, you two are some pretty fuckin' lousy GMs. Like, if you don't even know the rules regardin' tag teams an' stables bein' able to pop up on either show then.......fuck. Hell, what sort of sense did it make to strip the Cowgirls of the tag straps on SIN instead of Legacy? Hm? Don't bother tryin' to answer cause there isn't any and You're both clearly not fit to be runnin' OUR show, now are ya? Don't worry though, cause we're still gonna do the right thin by complyin' this time 'round.
With a nod to each of them, Jessie turned her attention back to the Diamonds as Khaos and Cerise peacefully made their way out of the ring.
Jessie: Now that you've played the partypooper, I suppose your gonna try to one up us by sayin' something stupid; right? Prolly somethin' like how Jinne can't interfere in the electrified steel cage match tonight or else? Cause that'd make ya both even DUMBER than you are now.
Michael Diamond: Wow, Jessie… it’s like your Nostradamus or something, able to foresee the future. In fact, that IS why we’re out here. See, Cassandra and I have been around long enough to know that when stables are formed and – more importantly – when they are left unopposed, that doesn’t typically bode so well for all the others on the roster.
Cassandra Starr-Diamond: And seeing as how the lot of you in that ring typically require outside interference and assistance on almost a weekly basis, we find ourselves… as your magnificent and glorious GMs… left trying to even the playing field.
The GMs watch as Khaos and Cerise are escorted out before turning back to the two Legacy competitors in the ring.
Michael Diamond: Maggie Lockheart made the RIGHT decision by challenging Jin Min-jun for the Legendary Championship at Christmas Chaos. And so we feel that the least we can do is to do RIGHT by her.
Cassandra-Starr Diamond: So seeing as how tonight’s theme is “all about stipulations”, let’s add one more to the pot. Yes, we know it’s an electrified-cage-match so interference does seem rather improbable yet… at the same time… not entirely impossible. So if Jin Min-jun does, in fact, decide to try and interfere in tonight’s Main Event between his friend and stable member, Jessie Lee, and his opponent at Christmas Chaos, Maggie Lockheart, then I think it’s only fitting that we reward the #1 contender her pick of stipulation for their title match.
Michael Diamond: Oh, see, I thought we would’ve just stripped Jin from the title belt outright and give it to Maggie Lockheart.
Cassandra Starr-Diamond: No darling, that was last week, remember? With the Cowgirls from Hell?
Michael nods his head in remembrance as the crowd boo’s heavily, their deplorable actions last week against the former Tag Team Champions still fresh in all of their minds.
Cassandra Starr-Diamond: We’re not monsters after all. We’re just trying to ensure that everyone gets a fair shake, savvy?
Michael Diamond: So Jin, enjoy your night off! And Jessie, good luck in your match tonight! Something tells me that you’re going to need it.
