Skyeson had won their debut match for Wrestling Revolution1 with Chelsea pinning The Overbaker following their double team Powerbomb/Top Rope Leg Lariat finisher which has yet to be officially named (though Chelsea insists that it’s called the “Happy Ending Bomb”, a reference to a “Happy Ending Message” as she calls it), however disaster struck in the draft! Chelsea was drafted to Tuesday Night Sin whilst Ross was drafted to Legacy!
But Chelsea couldn’t just focus on the draft putting her on a different show from her boyfriend as she was in tag team action on this coming Tuesday Night Sin! Her opponents? Khaos and Cerise AKA The Psychotics! Her partner? One half of the tag team champions who was also drafted away from her partner, Cara Strader! Tensions were already high between the two women as Cara had pinned Chelsea to take the Futures Championship from her during the Remembrance Rumble and had an indirect hand to Chelsea eliminating Ross from the Rumble, can they put aside their differences and win?

Well, that threw a spanner in the works.
When I signed up with Wrestling Revolution1 it was under the impression that I was going to be working with Ross a lot, the idea was that we’d sign up as a tag team and take the tag team ranks by storm after all, what we didn’t anticipate was Wrestling Revolution1 having a draft two shows after Skyeson made their debuts for the promotion and Skyeson being broken up by said draft but that is exactly the situation we find ourselves in.
Just to be clear, I’m not breaking up with Ross over this! The old saying goes that absence makes the heart grow fonder and we’re still working for the same companies, even if the deal with IWF may just end up being for their Olympians Tournament and nothing else we won’t be separate for long, especially with the Tara Fenix Charity Cruise coming up at the end of October/beginning of November!
And I just realised that I’m going to be really fucking busy over the next month! And speaking of the cruise………
”And the latest Skyeson poll is live!” I commented after hitting the send button on Twitter and sat back and waited for the votes to roll in, for those who don’t follow me or Ross on Twitter, the Skyeson polls have been something off a running gag since we started dating, the first one by Ross and was about whether we should have sex before a big match (no prizes for guessing how I voted or which won), second was for the location of our first date (Italian Restaurant won over French Restaurant, ordering takeout or Netflix and Chill) and the latest one?
”You created a poll about what colour bikini to wear to the cruise and included “sun-bathing naked” as an option?” Ross asked once he saw the poll, the other options were red, black and dressing warmly because it’s winter (and as I explained to Tara I had never ventured outside of the US before and didn’t know how hot it got in the Caribbean around this time of year) and I responded with a big grin on my face. ”You do know that the last option is going to run away with the poll right!”
”I mean, if we’re being honest? I thought Netflix and Chill was going to win the last poll, but Italian Restaurant came from behind to win, and for once there was no innuendo intended!” I defended myself with a grin before giving my arms a big stretch. ”And that was the best Spaghetti Carbonara, and the best Risotto I’ve ever had, says the woman who’s never been to Italy.”
”Sooner or later our wrestling travels will take us that way babe!” Ross responded before he kissed me on the neck from behind I grinned before kissing him back. ”Right now we have more pressing matters.”
”Right, like getting a doggo before the cruise!” I exclaimed, and Ross shook his head in response. ”You mean the tag team match on Tuesday Night Sin, don’t you?”
”Getting a dog is on our priority list, but that’ll take time and your match will come sooner.” Ross reminded me, and I sighed before realizing that he was right. ”And to be honest I’m not even sure if Cara can be trusted.”
”Gee, a woman who took the Futures Championship from me by rolling me up from behind and indirectly led to your elimination in the Remembrance Rumble can’t be trusted, who’d have guessed?” I muttered sarcastically in response before taking a sip from my drink. ”As for the PsyKhotics, Cerise is a little lighter than me but is four inches taller so she definitely has the reach advantage over me! Khaos is one inch taller and fourteen pounds heavier than you and I usually have to stand on my toes to kiss you so yeah, fighting with him is going to be fun!”
”You did fine against The Overbaker and he’s taller and heavier than most of the roster.” Ross reminded me, and I nodded in agreement. ”And whilst we don’t trust Cara fully, she is a champion for a reason.”
”Yeah but that was a handicap match, this is an even playing field! Cara is the tallest and heaviest woman in the match but that’s not saying a lot! Especially compared to me!” I pointed out and Ross nodded in understanding. ”Maybe I’m overthinking it, but this partnership started in PWE and look at how that turned out! I know we can make this work but that doesn’t mean I have to be happy about us being on different brands!”
”Well, I can think of one thing to put you in a better mood.” Ross responded, and my mind immediately started racing with ideas, a lot of them dirty. ”Gamind, I still need to get you back for when I let you beat me at Halo.”
Yeah any thoughts about me being disappointed by what he actually meant just went flying out the window. ”Err, let me win?” I asked with a grin before standing up and putting my pinkie on Ross’s chest. ”Nice try Romeo but I remember serving you your ass on a silver platter clear as day! Either you’re really bad at lying or you suck at games, which is it?”
”Only one way to settle this once and for all then!” Ross said as he motioned to our gaming room. ”Winner buys takeout the next time we order it?”
”Just remember that I will be holding you to that!” I responded before following Ross into the gaming room.

”How is it possible that after winning my first official Wrestling Revolution1 match against The Overbaker that I feel like my career in this company isn’t going right as planned from the offset? Oh, that’s right! I get blindsided by a draft and before I know it, me and Ross are on different brands! If you think that this is the end of Skyeson, well our relationship survived Ross leaving PWE after two shows, so what do you think? Besides that, I have a winning streak to continue in my first episode of Tuesday Night Sin where I’m taking on The Psykhotics! Only issue? Cara Strader is my partner!”

”Let me cast your minds back to my unofficial Wrestling Revolution 1 debut, namely the Remembrance Rumble and look, I knew I wasn’t going to last long as the Futures Champion when I entered that thing but then Cara went and rolled me up from behind! And just to make matters worse, she had an unintentional hand in Ross’s elimination by me! In other words, there is a long list of people who I’d rather team with for this match and guess what? Ross’s name is right at the too!”
As for my opponents?
”The fact that Khaos and Cerise call themselves the Psykhotics would normally worry me enough if I was teaming with someone I could trust but I guess pickers can’t be choosers, I’m the shortest woman in this match which means Cerise and especially Khaos will have a definite reach advantage over me but the fact that I managed to hold my own against a wrestler as tall and big as The Overbaker should mean that I’ll do fine, hopefully!”
And that’s not the worst part!
”And when we throw the sadistic tendencies of my opponents in this match? I feel like I’m pushing a boulder up a ridiculously steep slope only for it to roll down to the bottom once I finally get up to the top and I don’t know if my wrestling style gives this away but I’m not exactly a very strong woman! My strengths lay in high flying and technical wrestling and if all goes to plan, those skills will see me through this tag team match!”
But that’s a big if!
”Just so we’re clear, I’m not deluding myself into thinking that this will be an easy ride for me and Cara, the fact that we’re a thrown together team going up against an established team doesn’t help matters either, but we will prevail one way or another and my winning ways will continue at Tuesday Night Sin this, well, Tuesday night in Boston Massachusetts! And if Cara finds a way to screw us out of the match, that’s on her!”

”Look I don’t care if me and Ross are on different brands in Wrestling Revolution1, love will endure, and he will be there in spirit cheering me on in this tag team match with Cara Strader against The Psykhotics! Damien and Cerise only got a taste of what I’m capable off in the ring during the Remembrance Rumble and this Tuesday Night at Tuesday Night Sin I will be serving them, and Cara, a full course meal of just what I can do in the ring! And now I’ve made myself hungry………”

”Me and Ross may be separated by brands, but I am every bit as good a wrestler without him and I will prove that when I team with Cara to take on The Psykhotics in Boston on Tuesday Night Sin!
