I walk into the camera’s frame for the first time since winning the Futures Championship, dressed in my black duster coat with skull buttons as the Futures Championship is strapped around my waist. Behind me is a white house with a bush of dead roses by a wooden fence to the right of the camera’s frame. I stare into the camera. Today I wore my immaculately painted black and white face paint. I sigh before regaining my composure.
"This is where my father killed my mother. I’ve never been super close with my mom, so I wanted this to be the bridge we needed. Even posthumously."
"Love me or hate me, this industry raised me, and made me."
I turn around and enter the white house as the door opens by itself for me, the camera records a blood red stain on the plush beige carpet. I look around my former childhood home before looking back at the camera.
"This place is special to me. This home belonged to my grandma and grandpa before they passed away."
"Jessie Lee talked about having to scratch and struggle into this industry. Life isn't fair, that's the first valuable lesson that we're taught. It's the lesson that carries over to the business of professional wrestling."
"My dedication to the company and this industry is fucking unparalleled. You will never encounter anyone in this sport that has as much passion for what we do than me."
"I continue on as I prepare to take back something that was taken away from me. I will regain the Heavyweight Championship and you are the first step in that. I’m supposed to build up my opponents so that when I beat them, I can turn around and use it as a stepping stone in my next match. I’ve often been referred to as ‘Carnivore’, I have to vent my frustration. You’ll have to do."
"I became a Hall of Fame wrestler, by handling myself in the ring."
"This dream was possible because I did it my way."
"Jessie Lee talked about people forgetting what it feels like to truly put everything on the line when they step into the ring, that's why we are having a championship unification match. We are putting everything on the line, the Horrorcore Championship and Futures Championship."
"Jessie Lee is going to show up to Legacy, she is going to tell the entire world the truth. That I am superior to her in every single way. Now she can choose not to do that if she’d like. I will beat those words out of her. Choice is hers. I know she will make the right one. Haha."
The smile disappears from my painted face.
"Whether you like or dislike my methods is irrelevant. I was always someone who simply got shit done. If I failed, I owned up to it. If I succeeded, I’ll never let you forget it. The days of face paint are over but the ass kicking continues. The thing is, ‘King of Darkness‘ came back in some sense of redemption, I guess."
I wipe my black and white face paint off my face with my left hand.
"I promise that as much as I wish Jessie Lee the best. As much as I hope that this can be her awakening and rebirth within the image of the light, she is walking out of Legacy with neither Horrorcore Championship nor the Futures Championship belt."
"I have skill, talent, and pure well earned confidence. You won’t see me hesitate or second guess any move that I make in that ring."
"I am first and foremost a wrestler. I take pride in that. When I step in those ropes, I’m on a mission. That is my domain. I don’t play well with others and I don’t share my territory. Every wrestling move that I execute is done with precision and impact. Every punch that I throw is thrown with velocity and hate. That’s the difference between me and the rest of the roster."
"Every move and punch is designed to hurt you. I’m not out there to win a match. I’m out there to hurt the enemy that stands across the ring from me."
"Jessie Lee is weak. The weak ones will fail, just like they always do. They will see what happened. They will bitch and moan because that’s all they can do, bitch and moan."
"But it’s not about the failure, about being a weakling, that defines who you are as a wrestler. It’s about how you are in the ring. And as we’ve seen, nobody is better in the ring than me."
"Jessie Lee will fail to me."
"Not because I think I’m so much better than Jessie Lee. I don’t think that all, I know I’m better."
"The weak fail to the strong. That's just a fact of life, life isn’t fair."
The scene fades to black as I exist the house.
