{Days after the brutal attack by Jason Ryan, fans have been left wondering the condition of Brandon Hendrix. The wavering support has been shown on his Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, been sent text messages, any form of communication to Brandon the fans found, they sent out to him. With his win over Jason, he entered the To The Top Ladder Match to face Austin Omega, Arrow Reigns, Gunner Flynn, and Kiera Black. However now they're wondering if he'll make it at all. He's still scheduled to be in the match despite the obstacle he's facing right now, but only time will tell if he will be able to participate in the match, and despite everything the match means to him and the opportunity to face Mikey and the importance he set to do that, that all could go up in smoke. Recently on Defiant, it was announced that Brandon has become part of the Defiant roster, seemingly after the recent actions he dealt with.
One member of the press managed to sneak in and catch a photograph of Brandon in the hospital bed. His chest covered in bruises, cuts on his chest created by both the steel chair and the brass knuckles he was struck with, and what seemingly is the worst of it all, a year strolling down his cheek as he slept. No one came to his aid….

Months pass... and nothing was the same. Brandon went on to recover after suffering a loss to Jason Ryan, Brandon quit that company and has been traveling the world: working at Level Up Wrestling, Project: Honor, OWA, and so on, but he couldn't help it: he needed to join Revolution1. He went to the boss, signed that contract right before the Remembrance event, and he has been itching to get into the ring, and possibly get revenge.

"I remember that day, like it was yesterday..."
The scene fades of Brandon, laid up in the hospital bed and transitions to Brandon Hendrix: healthy, focused on his career at hand, and the opportunity that has presented itself. The camera zooms out to be showing Brandon sitting on top of a tombstone inside a cemetery. The camera lowers down to read the tombstone and it reads "Anthony "Brandon Hendrix" Roberts. 01/15/1998- 2021". The camera zooms back up and gets Brandon in view as he starts to speak.
"After that moment, when I told my parents that I was going to fight Jason soon after he placed me in the hospital, fighting for my life, they immediately, with much grief, bought me my grave right here. They weren't expecting me to be alive because of it... they expected me to be dead by now, because a man who's fighting with a heart as fucked as mine, he's bound to lose his life. Maybe it's my fault that all that happened. Maybe if I played to the authority, this wouldn't of happened. Maybe I would still be there today, being a slave to the system."
"But... that's not me. Thats NEVER going to be me. Jason Ryan... not only were you handed my spot in the group that I MADE! But... you were nearly handed the pleasure of ending not only my career... but my life. But life doesn't always give you want you want. I'm back... and I'm ready to kick your ass! But, before I can worry about you, I have a challenge in front of me: Scratch Strange."
Brandon chuckles a bit before shivering a bit. The breeze from the wind adds chills to the already chilling environment. Hendrix zips up his jacket to control how his body reacts to the wind as he continues on.
"Scratch, watching back on this, you must think to yourself that you got this in the bag because at anytime, I can be placed in a tiny section of the newspaper with my weak heart condition. You think I'm not going to be going at one hundred percent in this match, making this match more in your favor. But as the great Eminem said... "fuck no!". While it seems as a disadvantage, it's become my advantage. It made me a different kind of beast that stands before you. The training I had to endure... the pods I was stuffed in to be tested... the times I was at the brink of death... made me not fear DEATH! Any match can be my last but I'm not going to lazy about it. Scratch Strange, I'm going to come at you at full force. I'm going to run through you like I've ran through some of the biggest names in professional wrestling today, and you're going to another statistic."
"You see, none of this ends with you, but it sure is the beginning of the new revolution that is coming to Revolution1. And Scratch Strange, when you try to cartwheel over me, or try to escape me, you will fall and pray to your Don in the end and I will be closing in on redemption.
