Lee Matthews, in a blue T-shirt and jeans, talks to the camera as he walks out of The Slaughterhouse Gym.
Lee Matthews: Daniel Dream was an only child, his family was priest and demons, he was meant to be dangerous. I don’t want his past trauma to disrupt his happiness as he grows older. Take it. Make it mean something, and move along. It’s worthless right now. Daniel went to The Slaughterhouse Gym. A black Rolls-Royce in the parking lot, a house across the gym spot which Daniel planned to break into. They say opportunity knocks and Daniel knocked on the glass door three times.
Daniel Dream, wearing a white mask and a black duster with skulls on it, walks out of The Slaughterhouse Gym. Daniel speaks to the camera in a quiet, whispery voice.
"When I first started in this business, I learned right away to never be satisfied with anything. I’ve never been one to settle…ever…I got carnivorous ambition and drive. I take no days off. Spending months sparring in The Slaughterhouse Gym is a challenge too. You learn everything you can and by the end of the road, you learn everything. With all of my many talents and attributes, with everything heavily in my favor, Khaos, you're just going to get knocked off by someone quicker, better, more talented."
Lee Matthews talks to Daniel Dream.
Lee Matthews: I know what’s going through your head. You haven’t forgotten how for six months, your career was at rock bottom. You’re afraid that if you lose tonight, you’ll go back to that rock bottom, aren’t you?
Lee Matthews turns on the AC in a black Rolls-Royce in the parking lot to let it cool off as Daniel continues to talk to the camera.
"I really don't care what kind of champion Khaos wants to be portrayed as, but to be honest, the whole situation is kinda mind-blowing because Khaos of all people should know how difficult it is to even get a chance to become the Revolution1 Heavyweight Champion. Look, I realized being Revolution1 Heavyweight Champion isn’t about the merchandise, action figures, T-shirts, and all that back when I cut Premonition. No, it’s about being on your best grind. Taking on all comers, that’s what I did as Revolution1 World Champion. I took on all comers. I was on my best grind. Because that’s what kind of champion the Cult of Carnivore deserves. Those days are about to be upon us once again because I’m about to SHOCK the world at Rebirth when I beat the Revolution1 Heavyweight Champion Khaos to become your Revolution1 Heavyweight Champion."
Lee Matthews opens the backseat door to a black Rolls-Royce as Daniel enters the black Rolls-Royce. Daniel buckles himself into the Rolls-Royce with his seatbelt. Lee enters the front seat of the Rolls-Royce and buckles himself into the Rolls-Royce with his seatbelt. Lee Matthews puts the key in the ignition and starts the engine of the Rolls-Royce. The black Rolls-Royce starts driving off.
"Lee Matthews wanted to manage me as a wrestler and an actor. If It wasn't for that, I wouldn't be here, Lee Matthews is my GPS."
Lee Matthews’s dark brown eyes darted to the GPS.
"I need to win."
"It feels like I'm trapped in a box."
"I lost my Revolution tag team match against Angelo and Jason Ryan in the main event of Legacy, I lost my Quag Cup main event cage match against Cholo, I lost my IBW match, I lost my Quag Cup hardcore match, I lost my Redemption World Championship match at Battle By The Beach against Jason Sandman, I lost my 5BW Falls Count Anywhere match against Christy Winters, I lost another IBW match."
"I have to win."
"I need to win."
"I want to win."
"I have to do it again."
"I lost everything."
Lee Matthews’s dark brown eyes darted to the rear view mirror as he drove the black Rolls-Royce through potholes.
"You know how I get...highest highs, lowest lows. How unstable I get. You understand more than me just how crazy I get. I ain’t trying to get someone else to explain me that shit. This year has brought me to the highest highs and the lowest lows. This new year in my life I will unlock and achieve all my dreams. Mindset is everything. Once you believe you can achieve something, you most likely will. I don't trust a lot of people, not a lot of people."
"Lee Matthews seems like the only person keeping me human."
"Angelo and Jason Ryan had virtually no chance of beating me and Cerise, but they came to Legacy to play. Angelo and Jason Ryan came to Legacy to make a name for themselves. Angelo and Jason Ryan earned my respect at Legacy for the amount of fight they had. Credit was given where credit was due. I’ve willingly shared my spotlight with others in order to get themselves a bigger audience, but nobody outshines me. It’s just something I do in an effort to give back to the industry. I love competition."
"My love for you is a journey, starting at forever, and ending at never. Always love what you do, and do what it is you love. I love you. I’ve missed you. Love is energy."
Lee Matthews’s dark brown eyes darted to the fuel gauge as he drove past a gas station, making three left turns in the black Rolls-Royce.
"There’s no master plan, and I’m not maneuvering on impulse. What it all boils down to, truthfully, is that there’s no place like home. And this homecoming has been long overdue."
"See, I had that match well in-hand. Until Khaos came along and messed with the match. Now, I’ll say this once, and only once. Angelo and Jason Ryan, stay the hell out of my way. Unless you want to wind up like your championship-holding pal. If you call that fighting smarter, then I want to see you fight harder, because in my eyes...It's about time somebody taught you a lesson. And I promise you, I promise everybody listening. It’s going to be me."
"I always give credit where credit was due but I’m not taking your shit, Khaos, and to specify, because everything needs to be broken down, I'm talking the ‘run out in the middle of my fight and play stupid games’ kind of shit."
"All of this controversy stuff...to me...it's pathetic...but call it what you want. So I'm going to nip this controversy shit in the bud right now…"
"No interference, no controversy, no screwjobs...just you and me..."
"I was the longest reigning Revolution1 World Champion, I was the main event of Remembrance, I was the main event of Christmas Chaos, this happened because I am the best WRESTLER in this WRESTLING promotion."
"The last thing I need to do in this industry is win the Revolution1 Heavyweight Championship."
"At the end of the day? I’m the fucking guy around here. I don’t need you, you need me. You NEED me."
"You’re all small fish in a big pond. Revolution, you can lay out all the challengers you want…I’ll bury the veteran wrestlers, the eight-week pushed wrestlers, the wrestlers meant to sell action figures. Every soul, young and old, has their very own hourglass—mine, however, does not wind down my own fate, but yours. Another day gone by with nothing to show for it but empty threats and broken self-promises. Line up the challengers that you think are better than me in order of who you think can challenge me the most, I will crush them. And just like that, dreams will be crushed."
"Nothing would make me happier than to crush your dreams."
"At Rebirth, I'm going to take the Revolution1 Heavyweight Championship. Anyone, anyone that gets in my way is going to look like Madman."
"When I pictured myself chasing after the Revolution1 World Championship, I never could have imagined that I would bring down Madman from the mountaintop. Khaos, I want what you have and I’m going to come for it with everything I’ve got. I'm going to take the Revolution1 Heavyweight Championship at Rebirth."
"So, yes, I came back to challenge Khaos at Rebirth for the Revolution1 Heavyweight Championship."
"Khaos, I do respect you as a competitor."
"Prayers won’t save you, Khaos. This Rebirth, I’m going to break you. Even if I don’t win, you’re not walking out the same man."
"I won't let you walk over me, I am going to make you pay for everyone’s victory."
"Success is the best revenge to pay you back and that payment is overdue, everyone’s been making money at my expense."
A tall castle looms over Daniel Dream as he arrives. Above the castle is a charcoal sky that's mostly clear with only some clouds hanging about as the moon is clearly visible. Lee Matthews stops the engine of the Rolls-Royce and takes the key out. Lee parks the Rolls-Royce in front of the tall castle. Lee and Daniel unbuckle their seatbelts. Lee opens the driver side car door, gets out of the black Rolls-Royce, and opens the backdoor for Daniel Dream as Daniel steps out of the Rolls-Royce. Daniel's boot leaves an imprint in the dirt and mud as he first steps out of the Rolls-Royce.
Lee Matthews: The ride's over. They say opportunity knocks and Daniel knocked on the glass door three times so who would have guessed the best WRESTLER in this WRESTLING promotion would come from me answering the door. Because if Daniel Dream didn't knock on the glass door and if I didn't answer the door, I would be filing The Slaughterhouse Gym for bankruptcy while Daniel Dream would break into a house or die in a gutter.
"It’s been a wild ride. I’ve always wanted to make all of you proud, and I hoped that you would get the chance to see me live and in person as Revolution1 Heavyweight Champion."
"Lee Matthews seems like the only person...keeping me human."
"In order to evolve, we must destroy. History can be repeated, or it can be rewritten. ‘Looking to the past’? Over, done with. I plan on driving my fist through the past, into the future—our future. This—your demise— "King of Darkness" Daniel Dream is the only way forward."
Daniel opens the wooden front door to Castle Dream, stops in place in the doorway. Daniel turns around, punches Lee in the face and hooks Lee’s head! Daniel spins around and plants Lee Matthew’s head on the ground with a DreamDT! Daniel gets up. "King of Darkness" Daniel Dream walks through the wooden front door of Castle Dream, and closes the door on Lee Matthew as he rolls into a gutter. The scene fades to black.
