Daniel Dream, wearing a white mask and a black duster with skulls on it, walks through the thick, dark woods near a blue lake. A black bag is over Daniel’s right shoulder, a grey smileyface mask is in his left hand. Daniel's boots leave tracks in the dirt and mud. Daniel begins to speak in his quiet, methodic voice.
"My last match against Dorian Rhodes has me hit with a roundhouse kick, it knocks me cold in seconds and gives me a dreamless sleep that allows me to just enter my subconscious once I’m knocked out."
"That was a war. I’m still healing up but the rest is never long enough, I’m back on the road. Until we meet again…"
"This man put me on a stretcher. Revolution is my life. I-I love what I do. I worked a very long time to get where I'm at and to earn the opportunities that I have been given. And, Dorian Rhodes, he tried to take that all away from me."
“I've set up a tour of various companies."
“Being back never felt so good.”
A tall castle looms over Daniel Dream as he arrives. Above the castle is a charcoal sky that's mostly clear with only some clouds hanging about as the moon is clearly visible.
"I’ve carried this company on my back, everything I’ve done has had a purpose and going into the main event of Legacy is going to be no different."
Daniel Dream walks through the wooden front door of a castle while holding a grey smileyface mask. There are cracks in the walls of the castle, some covered up by paintings of men dressed in black cloaks. Daniel walks through the castle.
"I went from not on your top ten to number one, anyway also remember I WAS the best Revolution World Heavyweight Champion in history, I deserve to be in the main event of Legacy."
Daniel Dream continues to walk through the dark corridor, the eyes in the paintings follow his movements.
"I will showcase my dominance at all times, set an example. Make those who are trying to take my throne scared shitless. Make those who stand before me? Fall in line. On their knees for the king. I am a king and you remind me of that fact constantly. A king who kneels is no king. I couldn’t knelt to you if I wanted to. Remember who your superior truly is. Fall in line."
"I did the right thing to wear the crown, I know my worth."
"Living in the past, there's no future."
"There’s nothing wrong with looking towards the future. That’s what most successful people do. They plan for the long-term while still keeping an eye on the present."
"But don’t think for one second that I’m looking past you, Angelo and Jason Ryan. No matter my future plans, I always focus on the task in front of me, and tonight, Angelo and Jason Ryan are my task."
"Tonight will be no different."
"I'm always training hard for my next task, I’ve been training every day at The Slaughterhouse Gym since my last match against Dorian Rhodes when he hit me with a roundhouse kick."
"I’m looking towards my ultimate goal, The Left Hand’s domination in Revolution and the wrestling industry."
"Looking past you? On the contrary, I'll be looking right at you tonight. My eyes meet all opponents and when that happens, I will stare you down intensely. You will feel a shiver down your spine and your impending doom."
"I respect my friends too much, The Left Hand is one of the most important things in my life, I want you to remember that."
"My tag team partner in The Left Hand is Cerise, she, like the rest of the world knows me becoming champion is inevitable."
"Angelo and Jason Ryan, you two can’t even get along. You have next to zero chance at winning this thing but you’re not gonna go home empty handed. This is your opportunity to show Revolution what you got."
"Losses will teach you more than a win ever will so you’re gonna take this loss and you’re gonna use it as a learning experience to come back stronger."
"I'll be the defending World Champion every step of the way."
"I'm a fighting champion and I intend to set the standard for what it means to be after I defeat Angelo and Jason Ryan, then go on to advance to the top of the mountain by defeating Chelsea LeClair."
"You will never advance past the middle of the mountain in tag teams and we both know that’s true because you’re too afraid to do it yourself. You will never try to climb past the middle of the mountain because you feel safe in the middle. The top is hard. It’s difficult to get there and to stay there is even harder."
"Smiling is the best way to face any problem, to crush every fear and to hide every pain."
Daniel holds up his grey smileyface mask.
"There’s no use in playing brave. I’ve seen every outcome, not one in your favor. This is not going to end well for you. Your end is near. Meet your inevitable fate."
Daniel Dream walks up the white spiral stairs of the castle, opening the door to the first room on the left, and enters the bedroom. Daniel puts down his bag and smileyface mask then heads back down the white spiral stairs as the scene fades to black.
The darkness of night was setting in as Cerise was fumbling with her phone in the driver's seat, fumbling with her phone, seemingly trying to figure out how to use Google maps.
¨Where the hell am I supposed to go?¨ she muttered annoyed ¨Is he really sending me to a castle?¨ she rolled her eyes ¨God, these Left Hand members, are so pretentious¨ she snarled
Cerise was on her way to the headquarters of one of the head members of the Left Hand. She was in her first tag title match since her days with Khaos. After last week's brawl and ridiculous rejection from the match, Cerise and Dream would team together to take on Jason Ryan and Angelo once again. She had no doubt that the two of them would destroy Ryan and Angelo, given the opportunity. So she wanted to meet with Dream to discuss logistics, but instead of just meeting at the ring, Dream insisted on meeting at his home, which apparently was located in the mountains somewhere. She finally got the map to work and continued on her way to Dream`s residence. The drive being so long she couldn't help but to reflect on the past couple weeks.
Since joining the Left Hand, and leaving Khaos behind, the thrill Cerise thought she would have with them, was met with just ambush after ambush. This is not why Cerise joined them, she wanted to build off a legacy built by her family. Although too young to see her father in his glory days of wrestling, her mother would often play the tapes of ¨Your Hero¨ Michael Diamond, and her Mother. That's what she wanted out of this, to make them proud, to build off of this empire paved by the likes of her mother. Her mother, one of the first woman wrestlers to hold championships like the intercontinental, or hardcore. Her father and her mother held the tag team championships, the second longest in their fed history. This was all she had left of her family, it was in her blood.
Sadly, She didn't feel the connection to The Left Hand members like she thought she would, not the way she felt to Khaos. The darkness, and his tragic story was so similar to hers, there was this connection she couldn't explain, with him. She made choices however, and was committed to continue her mission with The Left Hand for the time being. The damage done to Khaos by Cerise with Left Hand, she was sure he wouldn't have anything to do with her anyways. The Left Hand, specifically Dream, and Anya have come to her defense in many ways, and she wanted to show her gratitude to them. There was no doubt The Left Hand was a powerful team, a team you shouldn`t second guess, or turn your back to.
¨You have arrived¨ her phone spoke as she pulled up to an old European style castle. Almost something you would see out of an old Frankenstein movie.
¨Well this isn't creepy¨ she muttered to herself as she started walking the never ending driveway.
Almost to the door she turned around, trying to take in all the sights.
¨Jason Ryan, and Angelo….you may be the favorites for now, but know you are no match for The Left Hand¨ she cackled as she walked into the front door, the sound creaking as she was met by the welcoming smile of Dream.
¨Well Hello¨ she flirted as he welcomed her into the castle.
"How does it feel to be at my residence?" Daniel Dream, wearing a white mask and a black duster with skulls on it, motioned Cerise inside. There are cracks in the walls of the castle, some covered up by paintings of men dressed in black cloaks. The eyes of the men seem to follow Cerise’s movements as Daniel leads her up a white spiral staircase. Daniel opens the door to the first room on the left.
Daniel sits on a bed next to a grey smileyface mask.
"So it’s time to discuss our strategy for our upcoming Revolution tag team match against Angelo and Jason Ryan. Let's get started, we have so much to talk about."
Having a hard time focusing on anything besides the eccentric décor, Cerise focuses on Dream comment.
¨Ï don`t believe we have all that much to talk about Dream, we need to put them in their place. The Left Hand will not be made to look like fools.¨
"What's your take on this match? I’m not looking past Angelo and Jason Ryan but I'm envisioning myself as the World Champion, I can feel the gold around my waist. I came here tonight to win, and I plan on doing just that."
¨Right now, we need to get past them. I can help you get that gold belt, you seek so strongly.¨ She said enticingly ¨Ï happen to know a thing or two about the world champs weaknesses.¨ ´ I am sure we can work out a little arrangement¨ She said playfully.
The scene fades to black.
