Character Name: Jin Min-jun
Nickname: The Brooklyn-Gun, The Prince of Brooklyn , Heart and Seoul, (close friends) "Minnie"
Hometown: Brooklyn, New York
Height: 5 ft 11
Weight: 170 pounds

Bio: Jin Min-jun was born in Icheon, South Korea and raised there until the age of 5. His parents decided to take their lives to the land of empty promises. When he moved Min-jun's parents felt they had to assimilate into white culture and began calling him Michael Jin. They made sure to do their best to help him fit in with his peers and with the exception of some traditional food and speaking Korean sometimes at home Min-jun almost completely lost touch with his culture. As he got older he noticed that his parents were struggling financially, barely affording bills and doing everything they could to keep food on the table and clothes on Min-jun's back. He hated seeing his parents struggle and at as only a teenager decided that if the world wouldn't provide legitimate opportunity for his family to keep their heads above water he would have to make his own opportunity legitimate or not. He started pickpocketing from some of the richer folks in town. At first the spoils of his thievery went solely to his family, but upon realizing some of his friends and neighbors were struggling as much as his family was he began to share the wealth. His actions would occasionally cause Min-jun to be on the receiving end of some retaliatory assaults and thus he had to learn how to fight back. Min-jun ended up becoming part Robin Hood, part protector for the kids in the neighborhood and eventually they began to look at him as some sort of king of the street. Eventually one of his closest childhood friends known to Revo1 as Aphrodite IX convinced him to join her in her dream of wresting.
Pic Base: RM/ Kim Namjoon
Entrance Attire: Wears a black and gold bandana cut/folded into the shape of a crown, black and gold cargo pants, black and gold sweater, black elbow pads, black and gold sneakers.
In-Ring attire: same w/o sweater.
Theme song: Daechwita by Agust D
Entrance: "Daechwita" by Agust D begins playing in the arena. Jin Min-jun walks out slowly on stage with a baseball bat resting on his shoulder as the song's ceremonial intro ends and the music begins to pick up. He surveys the crowd showing no emotion as if a king looking upon his subjects. Once the rap begins he breaks this façade and begins headbanging to the music as he makes his way to the ring slapping hands with some fans. He makes his way to the right side of the ring before climbing onto the apron and then onto the turnbuckle. Jin Min-jun points his bat towards the opposite corner before stepping up and dropping in the ring on his feet. He steps towards the middle of the ring and follows through with a swing of the bat. Min-jun then poses with the bat again on his shoulder and his chin resting on the thumb and index finger of his left hand.
In Ring Style: Min-jun is by no means a ring technician, nor is he a powerhouse or a true luchador. Min-jun is a scrappy fighter relying on brawling and his kick heavy taekwondo training. That being said Aphrodite IX has convinced him to add to high risks to his repertoire. Min-jun is also known to employ some questionable tactics when all else fails including pretending his opponent has struck him with an object or taking advantage of a conveniently timed ref bump to employ his trust pair of brass knuckles or baseball bat (Sometimes using the bat to distract the referee so he can sneakily use his knuckles). He typically only uses these tactics against heels (think face Eddie Guerrero vibes).
Favorite moves: Thesz press with punches, suicide dive, stomps to limbs (including Shayna Baszler's arm stomp), diving side kick, jumping tornado DDT, Turnbuckle STO
Strikes: His striking is a mix of typical punches/kicks/elbow strikes you would expect from a brawler and taekwondo kicks and other strikes including palm heel strikes and spinning back fists.
Signature move(s):
1. Broken Crown: Inverted Stomp Facebreaker
2. Spinning Reverse Elbow
3. Corner Meteora
4. Icheon Rush: A series of taekwondo turning kicks that move up the side of the opponent finishing with a jumping turning kick to the head.
5. K5 - Sliding D to the skull
6. Double wrist clutch w/ stomps the the face
Finisher(s):
1. Shot of Jin: Black Mass/Reverse Spin Kick
2. Diving senton bomb
3. Jin and Tonic: Triangle Choke w/ elbows to the head
4. The Tenth King: Burning Hammer (One Shot Kill/Desperation. Meant as his "nuclear option" no one should kick out if used)
How Often does this character cheat to win?: Sometimes. Think face Eddie on Smackdown. Like can when without cheating and does... but sometimes Jin will if the opportunity presents itself or all else fails. But he would typically only cheat against heels. See in ring style section for an example.
Extra character info (mannerisms etc) that match writers should know: Jin relies mostly on striking based attacks, using his limbs as a weapon. He is known to fly off the top or hit an occasional suicide dive, but he isn't super flippy by any means. He will use a hit and run style approach when he can't overwhelm his opponents with a barrage of strikes. ie Run in to attack and the second the opponent gains composure backing off until he can see another opportunity.
