Trey: Ladies and Gentlemen, it’s main event time!
A barrage of pink and blue fireworks explodes on the side of the stage as “Gasoline” by Halsey begins playing over the loud speakers. Cerise appears on the stage, wearing a pair of silver booty shorts, black webbed tights, and a crisscross leather black halter top. Completely the ensemble is a pair of purple boots with a blue diamond on the back, as well as black armbands with red stars on either arm. She smirks out at the crowd before raising both hands into the air, drawing a mixed reaction from the crowd.
Case: Not sure Cerise is getting the type of response she was hoping for from the people in Indy!
Alara: The following match is Legacy’s FIRST EVER main event and is scheduled for one-fall! Making her way down to the ring at this time, from the Forsaken, and standing at five-feet-eight and weighing in at one-hundred-and-twenty pounds… Cerise!
She slams both hands down by her sound as the chorus of the song plays…
"And all the people say
You can't wake up, this is not a dream
You're part of a machine, you are not a human being
With your face all made up, living on a screen
Low on self-esteem, so you run on gasoline
(Oh, ooh-oh, ooh-oh, oh)
I think there's a flaw in my code
(Oh, ooh-oh, ooh-oh, oh)
These voices won't leave me alone
Well, my heart is gold and my hands are cold"
Cerise makes her way down the ramp and rolls into the ring, eyeing up the female official, prompting Hollie Michaels to give her a wide berth.
Trey: Cerise looking at Hollie as if she were her opponent tonight.
The atmospheric intro to Marshmello's 'Fly' begins to play through the arena speakers, as the house lights dim and a purple, aqua and blue light show begins near the entrance way. At first, said light show is illuminating nothing in particular; after a few moments, however, the curtain begins to noticeably stir until, after a few more seconds, a young man emerges from the back. Miles appears, wearing his custom-made black tights with airplanes flying across them and state lines underneath them, as well as his standard black wrestling shoes with white trim and laces. Taking no more than a second to survey the scene in front of him, the youth then promptly crouches, head bowed, clearly waiting for some sort of cue. He remains in this position for several more moments, as the song slowly begins to build to a crescendo, until finally...
'I CAN FLY!!!'
...he explodes upwards in a leap, arms outstretched!
Alara: And her opponent, hailing from Battle Mountain, Nevada… standing at five-feet-eleven and weighing in at one-hundred-and-eighty pounds… he is the former World Champion, Miles… Andrew… Way!!!
As the house lights come back up, the youth takes off down the ramp at a run; arms still outstretched to mimic the wings of a plane. He lets as many fans as possible graze his fingers with theirs all the way to ringside, then takes an additional lap around the ring, slapping hands with every child he spots in the front row.
Trey: A true “fan-favorite” in Miles!
Miles find himself distracted by what appears to be some sort of bachelorette party in the front row as all the woman are practically scrambling over themselves to get some sort of photo op with him. Miles does his best to appease the masses as Cerise rolls her eyes at the delay.
Case: Miles needs to focus on his opponent, Trey… maybe I should go over there and see if I can be of some assistance to those fine women of Indianapolis.
Trey: Sit down Case; we have a match to call.
Growing tired of the interruption, Cerise rolls out of the ring and storms up to Miles, shoving him. The fans boo her as Miles attempts to explain the situation. Miles seems to be talking Cerise down, until she suddenly rears back and slaps him across the face. Miles stumbles away as Hollie slides out of the ring, admonishing Cerise for starting the fight before the match had begun. As Cerise begins to argue with the referee, the blushing bride-to-be says something that seems to catch her attention. Whirling around, Cerise begins to get into a verbal confrontation with the fan now as Hollie does her best to get in the way.
Trey: Things are really breaking down here, Case!
Before anyone can react, Cerise reaches over the ring barricade and pulls the insolent and intoxicated female over it! Cerise begins laying into her as Hollie does her best to pull the disgruntled wrestler off the fan!
Case: Cerise has completely lost it!
Hollie managed to pull Cerise up only for Cerise to shove the official away from her. Not one to back down from a challenge, the referee pushed her back, which then resulted in the two exchanging blows back and forth.
Trey: And now Hollie is throwing down with Cerise!
Miles stumbles his way into the ring as he looks down at the action on the outside. He, like the rest of the crowd, is perplexed at the action before him. Rubbing his jaw, his face turning red from where Cerise struck him, Miles seems to get an idea in his head as a smirk appears across his face.
Case: I don’t like that look in Miles’ eyes.
Miles bounced off the opposite ropes and then launched himself over as all three women turned in time just to see the high flyer crashing down on top of them with a cross-body.
Trey: “Way Up High”! Miles just took out all three with the “Way Up High”!
Miles clutched at his ribs as the fans around him started up a “holy shit” chant. Miles seems to realize the error in his ways, clearly having gotten caught up in the moment. He assists the fan up first, helping her back over the barricade. Ensuring that she was okay, he gives her a quick apologetic kiss on the cheek before then checking on Hollie next. The referee waves Miles off, indicating that she was “okay”. Miles turns his attention to his opponent as he pulls Cerise up to her feet and rolls her back into the ring.
Case: Are we finally going to get to our match now, Trey?
Miles hops up onto the apron and waits for Cerise to get back to her feet. Leaping up onto the top rope, he launches himself off towards her, driving his elbow right into her face with a “Springboard Flying Elbow Smash”.
Trey: Miles in complete control of his opponent!
Miles goes for the cover but Hollie is still trying to catch her breath on the outside of the ring. Realizing no count was happening; Miles pops up and goes over to the ropes to check on the official. However, this appears to be his undoing as Cerise uses this to her advantage. Rushing in, Cerise jumps at Miles, her feet kicking off the top rope. Miles turns as Cerise catches him on the way down with a “Rainbow Cutter”!
Trey: “Fallen Hero” by Cerise and she may steal one over the former World Champion here!
Cerise goes into the cover as a disoriented Hollie slides into the ring. One… Two… Kick-out!
Case: That was TOO close, Trey.
Trey: I don’t think the bell ever rang, Case. Is this match even officially underway?
Cerise yells at Hollie, accusing her of some sort of “slow” count. Hollie rolls her eyes as she clutches at her ribs still, the collision on the outside clearly still bothering her. Cerise grabs Miles and drags him up to his feet as he suddenly breaks free and leaps up onto her shoulders. Miles tries to fall back and flip Cerise down with a Hurricanrana but Cerise manages to, instead, push him off of her. Miles flips backwards, awkwardly landing on his foot, apparently twisting his ankle in the process. Cerise delivers a kick to the gut and grabs his arms, turning her back so she’s got him set up for the Rolling Unprettier. As she begins her spin, however, Miles manages to free himself and catch Cerise in a “cutter-type” hold. Miles leaps up and over Cerise, looking for a Sit-Out Shiranui, but he wasn’t able to push off as well with his injured foot. Cerise frees herself again as Miles lands on his feet. Cerise now tries to take a page of out of Miles playbook and leaps up onto his shoulders, looking for a Hurricanrana of her own but Miles blocks it, somehow managing to keep himself from being flipped over. Irritated, Cerise pulls herself back up, rakes her fingers across his eyes, and then rolls over his shoulders, sending him toppling down to the mat with a Sunset Flip Powerbomb!
Trey: Tremendous back-and-forth here!
Cerise wasn’t able to get all of the move, due to her not being able to build up that much momentum but it appeared to be part of her plan as she rolled through, locking Miles legs in the Boston Crab submission hold!
Case: Cerise calls this the “Legacy” and how fitting would it be for her to beat Miles with this move on our first-ever Legacy show tonight!
Miles screams out in pain as he desperately tries to scramble out of the hold. The fans all get behind him, cheering for the former World Champ, as he manages to pull himself over to the bottom rope. Cerise refuses to release the hold however, drawing more boos and jeers from the crowd. Hollie finally manages to get back to her feet and see what is happening as she practically tackles Cerise off of Miles.
Trey: Hollie is a former running back/linebacker for the Baltimore Bombshells, not sure Cerise knows who she is messing with here!
For the second time tonight, the two women have a heated exchange with one another, allowing Miles a chance to recover. Cerise decides to focus back on her opponent, only for her to walk right into a Running Bicycle Kick from Miles!
Case: Whoa, what impact from Miles!
Trey: He almost took Cerise’s head clean off with that one!
Cerise appears to be dazed as Miles pulls himself up, going over to the nearest turnbuckle. Ever the professional, Hollie got down to a knee, checking on the female competitor as her eyes appeared glossed over from the impact of the foot to her face, as well as her head snapping back hard onto the mat when she fell.
Case: I think Cerise might actually be hurt here.
Hollie appeared to be trying to say something to Miles but he was too focused on his opponent. Before the referee could stop him, Miles leapt up into the air, twisting around and landing hard on Cerise with an Inverted Corkscrew Shooting Star Press!
Trey: Miles hits the “Turbulence” on Cerise and that has to be it!
Again, due to Miles’ hurt ankle, he wasn’t able to leap off with the normal precision he had as his knee had, actually, come crashing down hard onto the side of Cerise’s head. Miles went to go for the cover but Hollie immediately pushed him off and began checking on the competitor. Hollie shook her head and called for the bell, motioning in the back for medical staff.
Case: I think Miles just won via knock-out, Trey!
Miles staggered to his feet as he looked down worried at his opponent while the trainers and doctors began to assess the injuries to Cerise.
Trey: Definitely not the way we wanted our main event to end tonight, folks… but Miles bounces back after losing his title to Cartier a few weeks ago.
Case: He still looks in top shape, Trey.
Trey: And with Miles and Cartier both on Legacy, you have to wonder if a rematch for the title is in his near future!
